    1. I thought it looked really nice, but there was no practice mode to learn the combos. So basically i had to button mash.

  1. Not sure if they are going to do an outstanding job. A quick look into their company shows they are a jack of all trades kind of group that take on anything rather than being a master at a few jobs instead. Also their company employee history has more people in business planning and projects than actual game devs themselves, this is worrying.

    1. Sounds like you just started PC gaming if you never heard of them or at least you don’t play fighting games 🙂

      1. Near-nobody ever knows about porting studios. Their logos just about never appear at start-up, & most of the time they’re not even credited with the porting work itself, which makes it extremely difficult to associate them with anything.

If you’re lucky, sometimes you catch a porting studio’s name in the game’s credits, but that’s about it, really, unless the developers themselves have discussed the porting & who’s handling it, which isn’t always the case.

    2. Check out their Polish Wikipedia page, apparently they’ve worked on quite a few PC games not listed on the English Wikipedia page.

    1. Learns what, not to screw people over?

Wait until Injustice 2 before you call that one. This could easily just be a big PR job.

      1. Learnes that to do a pc version right they must hire a PC developer with lot of pc experience like QLOC and not someone who dont know what they are doing.

        1. QLOC’s resume is iffy, at best.

“Lot of PC experience” isn’t exactly the words I’d use to describe them with. Nixxes or Iron Galaxy would have been a better choice, really, but I guess WB wants to do this on the cheap.

          1. They also aren’t PC dudes either, their site states that they do porting of all kinds, which cites them as jack of all trades, master of none.

If these guys were pro big PC devs then I’d know of it the way I do for Nixxies and CDPR.

          2. They are good enough to make MK XL run flawless online. Sounds like you don’t play fighting games on PC much… SFIV, SF X Tekken, .. And now MK XL

          3. And btw Nixxies has been porting games on PC since 2000… I remember how they ported over soul reaver on PC and my Dreamcast version looked better then my PC version…

          4. QLOC has been around for quite a while. They mainly do contractual and porting work for other studios. Odd that you never heard of them sine they handled the PC versions of SF4 and the DMC reboot and did a very good job.

          5. have you played the pc versions of SSF4 AE SFXTK Resident evil 6 DMC Remeber me and Dragon dogma? All of them worked 1080p 60 fps max settings from day one of release for me. They also did pc versions Tales that also were ok. They know their job. I dont think that Nixxes is better than them i think they as good as them. Iron galaxy would had been the worst choice.

          6. Huh. Interesting, their Polish Wiki page features way more credits than their English Wiki page.

          7. Yeah but they also did Arkham Origins, which gameplay bugs aside, is a rather good port.

While Iron Galaxy’s role in the AK Port is definitely suspicious, it is worth keeping in mind they only work with what they’re provided, as they don’t have access to the game files in the same way that Rocksteady does. Regardless, I doubt we’ll ever know who really f*cked up.

Maybe Iron Galaxy was having a bad day, after all. Maybe – bla bla bla.

      2. Look up the team, it sounds like a PR job to me.

More team members for that hired team that aren’t from the games industry let alone core game designers. Promises of “quality assurance” and yet their site has no history of all the games ported to and fro as well as anything big enough to make them stand out as people to definitely trust. Never heard of these guys until today.

        1. They ported over Street Fighter IV on PC. And that was back in 2009. Qloc has been around doing PC ports for over 7 years now. Mafia II, RE6, Devil May Cry Reboot on PC. Over 20 games at leas by now

        2. Wikipedia says they did the Dragon’s Dogma PC Port.

I’m wondering which part, the actual coding, or the quality control bit…….

          1. Bro they aren’t a popular developer, but they make damn good ports. All their ports run exceptional. It’s just that they are quite unknown which honestly is quite strange.

    1. NetherRealm don’t make games for PC… If they are smart they will never let High Voltage port their games on PC again. Qloc has been developing PC ports for 7 years now

  2. QLOC? Now I’m interested! Have had nothing but good things to say about their porting prowess from Assault Horizon, Remember Me…
