Gui Santos, the man behind the Ultimate Update for Mortal Kombat Project Season 2.9 we reported back in April, has released the final version of his MUGEN game based on Mortal Kombat 2. As with all MUGEN games, this is a free game that everyone can download and play.
Mortal Kombat 2 MUGEN Final adds new special moves and fatalities. In addition, it introduces combos and the run button from Mortal Kombat 3. New characters have been also added, as well as new endings for Jade, Smoke and Noob Saibot.
This seems like a polished freeware Mortal Kombat 2 game and in some ways it surpasses the original version. And since I’m a big fan of MK2, I strongly suggest at least giving it a go.

I don’t know if you were here when the vote about what should be allowed in the Comments Section took place but basically the choice which received the most votes was for allowing racist remarks and members can insult other members without moderator intervention.
I didn’t vote for this nor did the majority of voters who participated and chose other choices for obvious reasons. The trial period is for 1 year which ends around 4 months from now. Maybe John will allow a new vote at that time.
