Mortal Kombat 11 mod removes the ridiculous 30fps lock from Fatal Blows, Fatalities and cut-scenes

Now here is a mod that most Mortal Kombat 11 PC fans should be using. Created by Endri Lauson, this mod removes the ridiculous 30fps lock from the game’s Fatal Blows, Fatalities, Krypt and cut-scenes.

As such, the game now feels smoother than ever and -surprisingly enough – it also fixes the TAA ghosting from which the original version suffered.

Not only that, but this mod also adds proper support for 21:9 monitors by removing the black side bars on the menus and Krypt for people who use Ultrawide monitors.

It’s worth noting that the Krypt is incredibly unoptimized and even some powerful PC systems may not be able to run it with 60fps. We’ll be sure to test this mod with our RTX2080Ti and see if we can get a 60fps experience in the Krypt, so stay tuned for more.

Now I should also note that it’s unknown whether this mod will get you into trouble or not. We haven’t heard anything right now about QLOC banning those using this mod so, at least for now, it’s safe to use. However, and similarly to all mods for online games, there is a small chance that you may get banned for using it.

But anyway, those interested can download the mod from here. All you have to do in order to install it is unzip and open FpsCapRemover_by_Endri_v1.001.exe, and then launch the game. Then, you can press F11 to remove the 30fps cap and enable 60fps and/or F10 to remove the black side bars.
