Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Unofficial PC port now looks almost as good as the official PS5 version

Team Brazil has released a new version of its unofficial PC port of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. This version appears to be almost as good as the official PS5 version, and below you can find a comparison video between them.

For those wondering, the latest version of this unofficial PC port is V1.5.2. Like always, we won’t allow any links to it. Still, I’m pretty sure that most of you will be able to find it. All you have to do is a Google search and… well… that’s it. Just be careful with what you’ll be downloading though.

As we can see in this comparison, the unofficial PC port looks almost as good as the official PS5 version. Since the PC version can run at native 4K, it looks sharper than the PS5 version. And, as we’ve already showcased, it can run with 120fps, provided you have a high-end PC.

However, the PC version still lacks some shader and lighting effects. So, it’s not perfect yet. Let’s also not forget that this video compares a specific area. Other areas may lack even more shaders or may have various graphical glitches.

Not only that but Team Brazil has not implemented properly – at least yet – any Ray Tracing effects. Right now, the DX11 version appears to be the team’s main focus. Nevertheless, for an unofficial port, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 looks incredible on PC.

As I’ve already reported, the game no longer suffers from major stutters. It’s also worth noting that this unofficial PC port comes with several graphics settings to tweak. So, in theory, you should be able to improve performance on mid-tier PC systems by reducing them.

A while ago, the Brazil Team shared some official PC requirements for it. Therefore, I suggest taking a look at them.

This whole thing started from a leaked PC dev build, which didn’t have any shaders or textures. So, with that in mind, this latest PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 looks phenomenal. The fact that you can play it from start to finish is also commendable.

Sony hasn’t revealed anything official about bringing Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 to PC. From what we know, we should expect it to hit the PC in FY 2025. Or at least that was Sony’s initial plan.

Enjoy and stay tuned for more!

  1. lol im gonna get around to trying this out after i get around to getting spiderman and the dlc on pc when it comes down to a more reasonable price.

      1. To bad they stole everything from your crackhead mom when she was pregnant with a filth baby. If she still had a coat hanger left you would never be here mongrel.

        1. Your comment is really inconsiderate and not to mention offensive to pregnant women and fetus community. I think an apology is in order mr.dr. stew pidoras

      2. HEY! sony HAS some good games! I own PS5 just for that and i have a top PC.
I like uncharted series, the last of us [even the second one, that Abby sure like to ride D and pump iron, Good white girl by my standards] MGS series, O.G. god of war, Days Gone, Stellar Blade, ratchet and clank, killzone, resistance, and others.

I dont like modern dad of war, horizon zero woke, spiderman 1 is OK, but the rest of the games, that DLC with dindu spiderman and Kuckderman2 is trash.
I may buy a PS5 pro if they add some backwards compatibility.
The only reason I own Series X is for old games.

        1. You can’t even jump in Last of Us 1. There’s little to no actual gameplay except for a few human and zombie encounters. You can skip cutscenes, which is good, but most of the ‘gameplay’ is just you walking around. All Sony games suffer from cutscenes, walking sim parts, and hand-holding gameplay. Killzone 3 was nice with mouse and keyboard on RPCS3, but weapons take up 50 percent of your screen, which is very typical of console shooters. I should mention that kids in Europe (except for Brits) grew up playing on PC. My go-to genre is cRPGs or boomer shooters, so naturally, these games will never appeal to me.

    1. Those DLCs are very bad… The look and smell like a content cut off straight of the final game just to cash grab more money.
Grab them and use DLC unlocker, like CreamAPI.

  2. I like the colors in PC version better. It looks very homosexual friendly on PS5.
Happy pride month to all console players
