Latest XIII Remake Update brings mouse, weapons & gameplay improvements

PlayMagic has released a new patch for XIII Remake. This update introduces some mouse sensitivity improvements, as well as gameplay, AI and weapon improvements.

Going into more details, the weapon improvements include balancing, animations, tweaks, notably on ADS on machine guns, some audio. Furthermore, this patch fixes various collision and occlusion bugs, and animation glitches.

Additionally, mouse sensitivity, weapons animations and sounds have been improved. These are some of the issues that we’ve reported in our PC Performance Analysis.

As always, Steam will download this patch the next time you launch its client. Below you can also find its complete changelog.

XIII Remake December #1 Patch Notes

  • Weapon improvements (balancing, animations, tweaks, notably on ADS on machine guns, some audio)
  • Better Gameplay experience : AI bugs where enemy would not react, in-game objective markers, UI glitches, new narrative sequences, more user-friendly pickups, achievements tweaks, various bugs related to checkpoints and potential blockers
  • Art debugging and improvements (various collision and occlusion bugs, optimization, animation glitches, a lot of polish in levels – adding VFX, light, etc..)
  • Notable fixes on users feedbacks : mouse sensitivity, weapons animations and sounds (partially)

  1. This is not a December patch. There is no mention at all of a patch being released this month yet when you go to the forums and look on the news and events. These patch notes are word for word from the patch they had back on November 18th.
