Tango Gameworks and Bethesda have released a new update for The Evil Within 2. According to the release notes, this patch adds AKUMU mode, Infinite stamina cheat, Super strength, and Invincibility, and features minor bug fixes.
Unfortunately, this patch does not resolve the game’s performance – and to be honest I don’t expect the team to ever be able to fix it. As we’ve already reported in our PC Performance Analysis, for some strange reason the game under-performs on our PC system – and other systems according to reports – and it appears that these issues are not related to either the CPU or the GPU.
Our only conclusion here is that the game is bottlenecked by the RAM frequency, something we’ve indeed experienced in very few games. Let’s not forget that the game is not powered by the id Tech 5 or 6 engine but by the STEM Engine; a new engine that is simply based on the id Tech Engine.
But anyway, Steam will download this patch the next time you launch its client and below you can find its complete changelog.

The performance on this game was truly dire. While averages are about where you’d expect them to be there’s a load of stutter that none of the recommended fixes could help me with. It’s really distracting.
Meanwhile the first game (while incredibly resources heavy for what it is) actually runs fine if you use a hack to remove the fps limit (which subsequently also fixes a frame pacing issue the vanilla game has). I mean, that’s a pretty shoddy state of affairs, but at least it works in the end (the same can’t be said of TEW2).
Patch to add cheat??you can cheat using trainer since version 1.0…..smh
gysnc monitor = no problems !!!!
