Latest Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Hotfix removes content due to crash issues

Last week, we informed you about the release of Update 1.2 for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Patch 1.2 added in-game support for the Ostara Festival which appears to be causing a number of crashes. As such, the team has decided to temporarily remove some content in order to address these crashes.

As Ubisoft noted:

“We’re deploying a server-side hotfix to address a rise in crashing near Ravensthorpe. Settlement decorations will be temporarily removed and Ostara Festival quests involving decorations will not be completable.”

For those that were not aware of, the Ostara Festival will be available from March 18 to April 8. It features a bloomy Ravensthorpe, some unique side activities (such as egg hunts), and special rewards.

As said, this is only temporary. Ubisoft plans to re-enable this content via another update. However, there is no ETA on when a permanent solution will become available.

Stay tuned for more!

  1. Sad to write but this is the least of the problems with the game in its current condition.

I wish any kind of influencer reported the performance after the latest updates in Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla because it’s been completely destroyed!! To keep things short, Intel CPU users are basically having the same issue as you as writing in this article – components do not get used, but in AC Valhalla it’s specific to Intel CPUs.

As I notice you have two spare Intel processors, perhaps you could check this out for yourself. The AC support forum has a very hot thread about this, and best of it all, it’s being ignored by the people who are supposed to work for ubisoft.

It would make a great headline and you would also make ubisoft do something as this site has influence. The large userbase suffering from this problem have been waiting for 4 months and haven’t had a proper response yet.

AMD “optimized” titles. Watch Dogs Legion suffers from the same issue mentioned above but at least it’s not as bad. Hardware components get stuck at 90% from abusing draw calls, but in Valhalla it won’t go above 50% if you have specific (Intel) hardware.

  2. And CPU utilization not fixed since v1.0.4 yeah… few solid months and not fixed people has ~50% less fps.
Thank god there is 1.0.4 game version easy to find and download.
