Looks good, story a bit generic, but who knows. Can’t wait!
“Story a bit generic”, dude it is based in a realistic event from that era, that thing actually happened and you’ll take part in it. 😉
I’m not talking about plot, I’m talking about the story of Henry. But it’s probably too early to call, and like I said still very excited for this.
Amazing how the hard work paid out…look at those animations and facial animations compared to alpha builds from the game…Wow!
Yeah don’t know why people were complaining about facial animations, look great to me!
Maybe because the animations were bad at one time?
Yeah, but they were complaining about the latest build.
Surprisingly low requirements for (apparently) the amazing game it is.
I’m gonna rock it in 4K with the i9 7820X and 1080 Ti (or Vega if they’re better…which I doubt it) that I’m gonna buy this Fall 😀
Been hearing about this game forever, hopefully it’s good when it finally hits.
I feel some bad acting is in place here. Kinda sad after all this wait.
Really? I was surprised at how well it was done for the most part.
Pay close attention, watch it a few times and compare it to others well made. You’ll be there in no time grasshopper :p
I was under the impression the story isn’t the main focus for this one.
Well think of it this way, if you roam around like a complete idiot with no purpose, how likely are you to uninstall it in the first 30 minutes? That’s right!
Looks like the Gothic for our time.
Been following this title for a very long time. Really proud that it has a release date and seems polished right now.
Here’s a preview;
IGN: “6/10. Good story, good graphics, some gameplay issues.”
Polygon: “6/10. Not enough Social Justice.”
Kotaku: 5/10. ABSOLUTELY. NOT. ENOUGH. BLACK. PEOPLE.”
PCGamer: “7/10. Great native PC game, now if only there was more customisation options…….”
etc. etc. etc.
Recommended a 1060 ? What? This game was supposed to be a power house for graphics, now it goes on the consoles aswell and gets recommended a 1060? Is it also supposed to be played at 30 fps? … hope it doesn’t turn out to be a crap port, now that it will come out on consoles as well.
I would hope that they spent the majority of their time making the PC version the best it can be, rather than the consoles. They would earn a bad rep for their first game if they butchered the PC version, which should be the primary one to be working on..
who gives a $hit about consoles
have you seen witcher 3 on console? it’s practically ultra low setting
WOW! That is one amazing trailer…the presentation, camera angles, voice acting, animations, visuals and the music all amazing!
I really want this one to be good…it looks like a real product of passion, hard work, and dedication…
gtx 1060 for high settings? thats ridiculous. consoles have weaker gpus but pc requires more power to run it?
consoles will run it at 900p and lower settings at 30fps. In this day and age people still need to be reminded of this?
English accents, interesting. I must admit, I wasn’t expecting that.
P.S. Yeow, that sword-clashing-on-sword sound was awful. Thank f*ck is just a trailer.
They did a survey a while back and asked which accent the fans wanted for the voice over if I remember correctly. Looks like English won.
Oh, I see.
Thanks ^^
is the game’s premise based on medieval Poland?
considering it uses groschen/groszy and the colors of the soliders are very “polish” in style
It’s medieval Bohemia/Czech Republic. Groshen was czech currency (maybe also polish, i don’t know). However, it is possible there will be polish soldiers, i’m not an expert, but standarts with white (female) eagle in the trailer suggests so.
It’s set in in the Kingdom of Bohemia ( Modern-day Czech Republic )
if i could only freeze myself…
So, what do you guys recommend me: to play it on my PC (i5 4440 + gtx 760) or on the Xbox One?
PC always the better choice unless you have just a dirt dog of a system. Those specs seem to be better than xbox one specs so I vote PC.
Thank you for your reply!
lol? Most people can’t wait to play a game but you want to read reviews? /shakeshead
