Kingdom Come Deliverance has sold 4 million copies worldwide

Embracer Group announced that Kingdom Come Deliverance has sold 4 million copies worldwide on all platforms. According to the company, that’s up from 3 million units sold as of June 2020. In short, the game sold one million more copies in a year.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a story-driven open-world RPG that immerses you in an epic adventure in the Holy Roman Empire. Players will avenge their parents’ death as they battle invading forces, go on game-changing quests, and make influential choices.

The game features a massive realistic open world and a non-linear story as players can solve quests in multiple ways, and face the consequences of your decisions. Moreover, the game comes with a challenging combat system.

We already know that Warhorse is working on a new unannounced project. Other than that though, we really don’t know whether this game will be a sequel to Kingdom Come or not.

Stay tuned for more!

    1. Agreed, CryEngine is a bit of a beast to work with.
Still, they pulled off a better job than Sabre Interactive’s remasters of Crysis 1,2,3

      1. This was a game built from scratch and Crysis remasters was just a repackaging of old games. No comparison here. Games like Crysis repackaging and Mass effect Repackaging will always sell because people just do not KNOW when to move on and say I’ve had my fill. And the publishers knows this. Look no further than the ERO discount that’s available for the people that ALREADY owned every piece of game and DLCs in the franchise. All the other publishers give a percentage for owning the previous, EA and Crytek is loaded with greed; for they know the Dumbo’s will pay, NO QUESTIONS ASKED!

  1. This game is confusing. Before you can do the main story without dying. You have to get some kind of a sword or armour upgrade at some random village that is almost impossible to find without a guide. Of course the only way to find that out is when you are getting one hit killed by some dou**ebag in a burned out village that seems to have godmode on. I consider this one of my worst decisions to buy on a sale.

  2. I never played it. i started the game and it ran like sh*t and looked average at best. One of the worst performing games ever. so i just forgot about it.too bad that crappy optimization ruined the experience from the beginning .an experience which seems had the potential to be a very good one.

    1. Just try it as soon as you have the hardware for it. I waited until jan 2021 to play it, cost me only 20€ and it was one of the best game experiences I’ve had the last 10 years tbh. Still was a bit buggy but at its core it’s so lovely you don’t really mind.

  3. i think the brawl at the beginning for recovering the money is among the worst moments in gaming
popeye 1984 has a lot to teach this game about punching animations
