Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 will be reportedly announced on April 18th

Deep Silver and Warhorse Studios revealed earlier today their plans to announce a new game on April 18th. And, according to Tom Henderson, this new game will be the sequel to Kingdom Come: Deliverance.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a story-driven open-world RPG that came out in 2018. This was one of the few RPGs that took advantage of CRYENGINE and showcased some truly amazing visuals. Yes, even though its forest areas were downgraded from its beta build, the final product still looked incredible.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any additional details about this new Kingdom Come game. It might be called Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 or simply Kingdom Come 2. We also don’t know which engine it will be using. If I had to guess, though, I’d say that Warhorse will transition to Unreal Engine 5. Or at least that’s the safest bet.

So, while we don’t have anything else to share at this point, we at least know what this new “mystery” game is. And, I’m certain that most Warhorse fans will be excited about it.

I hope that we’ll at least get an in-engine trailer for this new Kingdom Come game, and not a cinematic teaser. Otherwise that April 18th reveal will be kind of pointless.

Stay tuned for more!

      1. it means environmental social governance, it was started by the united nations with the goal of motivating third world countries into becoming more western, the more environmentally friendly you are the more you promote feminism and equal rights, the more money you can access from un funds. Over the years somehow black rock and vanguard started to manage those funds, so now the more woke a company is the more money they can get from a 30 trillion dollar fund, that is being drying up lately. Its effectively a woke social credit score and the reason why companies go woke and so do movies and video games, cd projekt red put up a video on youtbue called our commitment to esg to attract investors from esg funds.

        1. ah yes the UN full of sh*ting on fictional loli sh*t, and going around didling real kids. projecting so hard to hide their sins.

          1. when i was talking about esg, no one knew what it was , don the pleb was the first guy to talk about it.

        2. Man,

Ive never even heard of this but after doing some reading up after you mentioned it finally answers my question on who is empowering this crap to be pushed down our throats.

          1. there is a company called sweet baby inc and they woke -ify games by telling devs what to change.

    1. not sure how they can implement woke culture in a game based in medieval times, it’s gonna be historically inaccurate, the first one was trying to be as accurate as possible, i don’t think they’d ruin the name of their ip just like that

      1. “it’s gonna be historically inaccurate, ”

yes, and it will have girlbosses and gays and communism and the muslim invaders will be the good guys.

          1. You were literally lockpicking doors Elder Scrolls style and saving via drinking.

The weapons were all over the place, people were looking way too clean, should we continue?

I get it’s your favorite game, but how about some critical view?

          2. we played a different game i guess lol oh no wonder the world is as it is today, the real message goes over, under, around etc most peoples whole bodies let alone head.

          3. No other game would have allowed Christianity to even be mentioned or present in it. That is what I was referring to.

      2. eh I’m not too convinced any modern product of the media is accurate other then maybe clothes, weapons, artifacts and hard facts like this treaty signed this date etc The rest is modern writing and sensibilities imposed on very blurry distant times past.

      3. Just like asscreed did. They will slowly introduce them like how in ac 1 the main bad guy who was taller than altair had a female doppleganger who was shorter than altair

  1. The first one was pretty ambitious but had a lot of bugs and needed a pretty powerful computer to run at high or more settings. That fpp horse riding made me nauseous after a bit also. I don’t even remember where I got to in the story before moving on it was so confusing etc Still boot it up now and then though for a bit of wandering. Be interesting to see this in a couple years.

      1. yeah true forgot about that lots of bad stuff. It was really the freedom and the beautiful natural world that is appealing.

          1. The combat was totally unrealistic and unintuitive. I would fire the designer on the spot. Even Skyrim had better combat and that one sucks big time.

They literally could’ve 1 to 1 copy Mordhau or Chivalry and call it a day. Instead they came with this rtarded 8 axis system. Why the hell?

  2. I never played the original, mostly because it was blacklisted by most gaming media sites and I didn’t hear about it till way later on when I stopped giving those sites my attention.

Since then, I’ve heard only good things about it, and I’ve always been interested in it. Maybe I’ll make it my Game Of The Month for my streams in May! Hopefully the sequel is good.

      1. Because of Vávra. He says what he thinks and his conservative views doesn’t suit modern developer scene, which embraces woke garbage.

          1. It’s their suit and tie overlords that often cause this. Someone has to hire all the pink haired weirdo THEMs to fill the gender equality departments.

      2. Because the game didn’t have strong independent girlboss in it, who somehow mastered all arts of war in medieval bohemia

      3. some polygon fig was like “where are all the black people in medieval bohemia?” So they attacked the studio and the founder and ceo daniel varva became pro gamergate.

      4. Yeah, most gaming sites back when this game came out refused to talk about. If you commented and asked why they weren’t covering this objectively huge game release, they’d perma-ban users and long time followers without any explanation.

  3. meh… it was fine…. but with the focus on consoles and the lol switch port i expect a middle of the road port. switch 2/ps5/xbox (xs) or whatever is the lowest common denominator for blacks and mexicans. a eu5 cross platform game. its gonna have improvements but be worse. just my guess.

  4. First game was so boring. If they don’t add a bunch of Pakis and Moroccans to the medieval Europe, it’s going to flop.

  5. Oooh very interesting, though i gotta say, while I appreciated how the first one was exceptionally grounded and had great realistic dialogs and interactions, many times it felt as exciting as doing the house chores, so i hope it has slightly more exciting gameplay and pace.

  6. I have zero faith left it will remain as faithful and respectful to the setting, literally can’t happen anymore, the first released right before the bottom fell out completely through in the industry. I read somewhere they had look and take funding from somewhere to complete this game so good chance they have been subverted.

  7. hope its a more optimised game than part 1.
Even with my RTX 4090 R7 7800X3D the first starting village the framerate drops from the 140’s all way down the 50’s by just looking a certain direction.
    Just breaks the immersion.

    1. You should give DXVK a shot.

Most likely, it will already provide better performance than the game’s DX11 renderer.

But please note that the latest DXVK 2.3.1 will further benefit from NVIDIA’s 555 driver series, which should launch as a first beta release on May 15th.

      Hope it helps!

  8. A community message to the studio,

DON’T go woke, You know what happens!
    You like money don’t you?

      1. They were independent then. Now they are not. I bet changes will be made to make journalists happy.

      1. Everyone is restructuring, it’s a corporate capitalist world, the real question is, WHO did they hire instead.

      2. Well that’s their choice, I won’t stop them but they should not expect me to open my wallet again.
If they want more money then it’s pretty simple, Keep the BS out of the game and it will sell better.
These companies need to be reminded every now and then who pays their wages, It’s not some foreign organisation pushing an agenda, It’s the consumer!

      1. Mentally ill people, terrorists and satanists. All the people that want to destroy anything normal or beautiful.

  9. I have some insider info. They’ve worked on this for the past 7 years. It’s a live service, mobile-only Clash Royale clone called Kingdom Go. My uncle works at Warhorse. He mocapped for the horse.

In all seriousness, I can’t wait for the KCD sequel.

  10. The previous game was more than decent gameplay-wise but with too many technical problems, I hope they’ll improve on both aspects this time

  11. My brother was absolutely right when he suggested that I would like this website. You have no idea how much time I spent looking for this information, but this post made my day.
