Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 feature

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 supports DLSS 4 at launch

NVIDIA has announced that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, which comes out in a few hours, will support DLSS 4 at launch. KCD2 is a highly anticipated RPG, so it’s good to know that the game will have support for NVIDIA’s latest tech.

As NVIDIA noted, gamers can use the NVIDIA app to upgrade DLSS Super Resolution in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 to the DLSS 4 Transformer AI model. Moreover, they can force DLAA via the app.

Now while you can use DLSS 4 Super Resolution, there is no word on whether there will be support for DLSS 4 Multi-Frame Gen. Since I’ve already pre-loaded the game, I will find out once it releases. In theory, KCD2 will support DLSS 3 Frame Gen. However, we don’t know whether NVIDIA has greenlit it for Multi-Frame Gen or not. For our AMD fans, I’ve also heard that there is support for AMD FSR from the get-go.

Anyway, this is one of the few games that use Crytek’s CRYENGINE. So, I’m really curious to test it. Let’s not forget that when it came out, Kingdom Come: Deliverance was one of the most demanding games. It was also one of the best-looking games. So, will its sequel be as demanding? Or will this be a more optimized – but less visually impressive – game?

For those wondering, Kingdom Come: Deliverance will NOT use the Denuvo anti-tamper tech. Also, according to previews, the game has Experimental settings that appear to be quite demanding. So, I can’t wait to benchmark it on the NVIDIA RTX 5090.

Make sure to read my first tech impressions of it.

Stay tuned for more!
