Tripwire Interactive revealed the official PC requirements for Killing Floor 3. The game will come out on PC on July 24th, and you can apply for its latest Playtest. So, let’s see what PC system you’ll need to run it.
Killing Floor 3 takes place 70 years after the events of Killing Floor 2. It’s the year 2091, and a powerful company called Horzine has created a terrifying army of monster-like creatures called Zeds. These bio-engineered beasts follow every order. Now, the only thing stopping them from destroying humanity is a group of rebels called Nightfall.
In KF3, you play as a Nightfall specialist. You’ll team up with up to five other players to fight in a destroyed, futuristic world. Your goal is to survive wave after wave of Zeds, learn new skills, and collect powerful weapons.
Players will be able to team up to create the best zed-killing squad in 6-player co-op. The game will support full crossplay, so you can play with friends on any platform. The enemies, called zeds, will be more dangerous than ever. They’ve been redesigned to move smarter, attack better, and think more like real opponents. They’ll be faster, stronger, and harder to beat.
Killing Floor 3 will be bloodier than ever. The M.E.A.T. System is back, making fights look even more realistic. Enemies can be torn apart in more places, and the blood stays on the ground and walls, making the battles feel more intense and real.
To run it, PC gamers will at least need an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 or Intel Core i7-4790 with 16GB of RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 or AMD Radeon RX 480. The devs recommend using an AMD Ryzen 7 7700X or Intel Core i9700K with 16GB of RAM and an AMD Radeon RX 6750 XT or GeForce RTX 3060. Sadly, they did not specify the graphics settings, resolution and framerate these PC specs target.
As said, the game will come out on July 24th, and it will be priced at 39,99 euros. You can also apply for its upcoming Playtest via its Steam store page.
