Ken Levine: Bioshock Infinite will not feature any Multiplayer modes

Remember Bioshock 2? What was its most lackluster feature? Oh yes, that was undoubtedly it’s Multiplayer mode. Not surprising as Bioshock was, is and will always be an SP centric game. And thankfully, Irrational Games won’t try to please its casual fans with another, useless MP mode. Ken Levine, creative director and co-founder of Irrational Games, has confirmed that Bioshock Infinite won’t feature any MP modes at all. Hooray.
When asked whether he could clear up if Bioshock Infinite will feature any multiplayer modes, Levine replied with a simple ‘Nope.’
Naturally, most of us got confused with Ken’s answer. Was that a nope (can’t clear things up) or a nope (it won’t feature any multiplayer modes). Thankfully though, Levine’s answer was the later one.
When another user asked for a more straight answer, Levine replied and confirmed that the game will not feature any multiplayer modes.
Awesome.
Bioshock Infinite is currently planned for a February 2013 release on PC, X360 and PS3.
