Journey is coming to Steam on June 11th

Annapurna Interactive has announced that Journey will be coming to Steam on June 11th. In case you’re wondering, that’s one year after the game’s release on Epic Games Store. And, since the game was timed exclusive on EGS, I’m pretty sure it will be exactly the same with it.

In other words, don’t expect any optimization tweaks or the presence of a low-level API. You should also not expect any graphical improvements from its initial PC release.

Players will explore the ancient, mysterious world of Journey as they soar above ruins and glide across sands. PC gamers will be able to play alone or in the company of a fellow traveler and explore its vast world together. The game also features lovely visuals and a Grammy-nominated musical score.

  1. Just got the call from Annapurna…To keep things short; they were given too much money from Tencent Sweeney and they would love if you pirated the game and left Epic=Bad propaganda in the Steam Community page. Yeah, that’s about it. I’m dead serious btw.

    1. Unfortunately they should still have plenty of Fortnite money to burn through trying to force people to use their sh**ty store, that cancer game has done untold damage to PC gaming.

      1. fortnite won’t last forever and everyone I know every game
on epic games they takes them on torrent lol

  2. Beautiful short game, I played it back in the day on PS3 and one advice for the ones who are planning to play it…do not see a thing about it. And if you know that “one thing” that makes it special, keep it to yourself. 😉
