Fugitive Games has launched a Kickstarter campaign for Into the Stars; a single-player space exploration game powered by Unreal Engine 4, in which players can scavenge resources, manage their ship and lead their crew in combat.
Fugitive Games was founded by two former DICE Leads, an established Art Director and a veteran designer from the Battlefield, Lost Planet and Shadows of the Damned games.
In Into the Stars, players take the role of Captain as they explore a massive solar system in search of a new home for humanity.
“Players will outfit their ship, select their crew and set off on a journey where they must scavenge resources, shelter civilians and outrun a hostile alien force in order to survive.”
What’s also interesting here is that Jack Wall, the man behind the unforgettable score for Mass Effect, will be responsible for Into the Stars’ soundtrack.
Fugitive Games aims to raise $85K and has 29 days in order to meet this goal.
Enjoy!

Looks cool
Looks like the game is kind of FTL but in 3D
Thats what i wanted after i played FTL for 500 hours 😀
500 hours? Wow. If this is like FTL then it’s kind of weird, all those graphics but nobody moves in the battles etc.
Shipping (July 2015) Really? :/
I wonder if there will be any interest in these types of games after the release of Star Citizen ? A game so big that it will have everything.
The music is by Jack Wall.. Mass Effect OST is just awesome!
Yep he does great work.
I backed this project just because of Unreal Engine 4, Star Trek vibe & Awesome music.
So…. Star Citizen before it decided to become a MMO?
