Insomniac Games Is Working On An Oculus Rift Exclusive PC Game, Edge Of Nowhere

Insomniac Games announced that it is currently working on an Oculus Rift exclusive PC title called Edge of Nowhere. This game was presented during Oculus’ E3 2015 Conference, and below you can view the game’s debut trailer.

In Edge of Nowhere, players travel to the far reaches of the Antarctic mountains in search of a missing expedition team.

“What appears to be a rescue mission takes a turn as you venture into the deep unknown, and discover a surreal world that will test your wits and sanity. Scale towering mountains and use makeshift weapons to survive and avoid descending into madness.”

According to Insomniac Games, in Edge of Nowhere, nothing is what it seems and the unexpected lurks from all sides.

    Exclusive for Oculus or exclusive to VR?
    I was reading a few things earlier, and if it’s the former… (????)?????

      1. Yep, hoping that this will be a timed thing, since the Oculus is more close to launch than the others.
        Splitting the PC player base is already dumb with the different storefronts/DRM, with hardware things get to a new level.

        1. I’m already pissed at consoles holding games hostage, and now they’re doing this horsesh*t with VR which leads me to think that both headsets will be basically the same thing.
