Half-Life 3 fan-made demo in Unreal Engine 4 is now available for download

Half Life fans, here is something for you today. Denys Almaral has released a demo for his Half-Life 3 fan-made version in Unreal Engine 4. This demo uses free assets that are currently available via the Unreal Engine marketplace, and looks quite cool.

As with most fan projects, this demo will give you an idea of what Half-Life 3 could look like in a modern-day engine like Unreal Engine 4. Also, this is made by a single person so there are obviously some limitations to what you can do in it.

Do note that there are currently no plans to turn this demo into a full-fledged Half-Life 3 fan game. For those interested in full fledged Half-Life 3 fan games, there are currently two promising projects under development; Boreal Alyph and Project Borealis.

  1. “”Half-Life 3 fan-made demo. “”

HL3 ? At best, this sounds more like a Half-Life 2: Episode 2/3 to me though, if we want to call it that way. Or, did someone leak Half-Life 3’s script, since this isn’t made by VALVE ?

    Seems unlikely though.

      1. Contrary to your mighty Lord Sweeney Gabe actually doesnt give a kr4p People have been doing this for years, using Valve assets on other
engines aside from Source, get out from you cave more often.

        1. Someone cant take a joke lol..and also don’t ever called Tim mighty Lord…it’s not worth it..

  2. Valve shows that being sucessful doesn’t always mean you have to do what you started doing. And the world which permits this wasn’t created by a all-loving God.
