DOMO Studio and SOFTSTAR have released a free demo for their upcoming action RPG, Xuan-Yuan Sword VII, on Steam. Xuan-Yuan Sword VII is an action RPG in a third-person perspective that uses Unreal Engine and will be coming to the PC later this year.
Players take on the role of Taishi Zhao; a calm and reliable swordsman who was accidentally involved in a tragic fate. To protect his beloved family, he starts a journey in this chaotic realm to find the truth.
The game will feature a real-time combat system, and will have a smooth combo-based combat system with elements such as Active Skills, Dodge, Block, Riposte.
Furthermore, players can use the Elysium Scroll; a bamboo scroll that you can use as a key to Elysium, capable of absorbing monsters, creating items, and more. The Elysium Scroll can provide several techniques and mechanics during the adventure.

Already Finished the Demo, here is what I have have to say:

The Video on this post has noting on the Demo, the Demo felt like its an
alpha build but the gameplay trailer is like Final build.
1. Few Graphic setting and FPS dropping a lot.
2. Graphic looks like PS3 era but the artstyle is good and charming.
3. Character model and Animation is really bad.
4. Action is great and like the combo you can with style like DMC.
Overall this game need much more work. Story is interesting but the slow start is so boring and forced QTE is never good.

Normally I would laugh at the notion of having to attach the word “FREE” to a demo. However, we do live in an era where Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes happened, so…. touche.
Just finish the demo weirdly better than i expect, i really liked 6 but this one is very different, just hope they dont put that online only saving sh*t again.
