Ebb Software revealed today that Scorn, the highly anticipated atmospheric first-person adventure game, set in a nightmarishly biomechanical universe, will be opening its twisted gates in October 2022.
In order to celebrate this announcement, the team released a new trailer that you can find below. However, this new trailer does not really show much. As such, do not expect any new gameplay sequence from it.

third trailer and demo, too linear and scripted too much blood everywhere
fourth trailer more or should i say less of the same thing, not impressive, i expected it to have large maps
new trailer they got rid most of the blood, has been rebuilt from scratch multiple times and old stuff scrapped
OMG just come out already and suck, at least come out i dont care if its good, this game was announced before agony and that game got a spin off recently. They went an entire console generation developing this thing.

No, it will not. The footage to send along with this news of a release in roughly 1 year is just more “tech demo” / target render stuff. a static environment, no gameplay, not even some roaming NPCs, nothing dynamic let alone interactive. they still don’t have a game so what makes them think they will in one year? they’re trying to will it into reality by making the announcement. like an addict promising “tomorrow I will quit”. nothing will change. this game is in development hell.
you do realize that coding a modern game suit to 2022 technical standards WILL take A LOT more time than your avarage 1999’s Quake 3, right?
Now this is a game that’s worth the hype. Give me real writing and real creative graphics and I’ll respect it.
What makes you think it’s the coding that is the problem? Could be they are lacking artists or sound designers.
