Now here is a nice surprise. Housemarque has made its fast-paced dynamic platformer, Outland, available for free on Steam until June 8th. Do note that this is a completely free offer and not a F2P offer. In other words, if you download now Outland, you will own it forever.
Outland is described as a fast-paced, dynamic platformer where the player uses powers of light and dark in an epic journey to save the world from forces of chaos.
Basically, think of it as a two-dimensional platform game with a polarity system similar to Treasure’s Ikaruga and Silhouette Mirage.

Awesome. I’ve been playing the hell out of Bayonetta, unlocking all the weapons, mastering the combat and attempting Infinite Climax. So a more relaxing platformer is all I need to break the routine. 🙂
