Team FOLON has announced that its DLC-sized fan expansion for Fallout 4, Fallout London, has been delayed due to Starfield. Thus, the team now targets a Q4 2023 release, and this delay will give the team enough time to further polish it and fix some bugs.
Fallout: London is an ambitious DLC-sized mod that brings the player into the nuclear apocalypse all the way to the doorsteps of Parliament. This is a Total Conversion mod that aims to encapsulate the gritty, adventurous nature of the Fallout games with a new world, factions, storylines, NPCs, weapons, creatures, and much more.
Team FOLON has also shared a new developer diary that you can watch below. This video packs some new WIP gameplay footage, so make sure to watch it.
Speaking of DLC-sized mods, we also suggest taking a look at the following ones.ย Whispering Hillsย is a cool Silent Hill mod, whereasย Fallout 4 Project Mojaveย is a full remake of the New Vegas strip (featuring 3 functional casinos). Additionally,ย The Wilderness Modย adds a worldplace that is as big as Nuka World. Moreover,ย Fallout 4: Sim Settlements 2 Chapter 2 adds new quests and a game mode.

That mod’s looking pretty good. I look forward to playing it.
Fallout who? London is the ugliest city in the world.
Er, have you ever been there like…
I’m Swiss, what do you think?
Doesn’t mean you’ve been there. Weird flex, as if anyone on this god forsaken comment cesspool should know about you. It’s 360 km “as the stone flies”. There’s plenty of places people haven’t been outside their country.

Did you really believe that this user is from Switzerland?
You know i had high hopes for the fallout community, i was thinking they gonna make some actual good fallout game, instead they became a bunch of cringe redditor furry coomers.
What the hell does it even mean? I’m having a brain stroke trying to comprehend this nonsense.
Everybody knows that a “DLC-sized fan expansion” is the same thing as an Expansion-sized fan DLC. /s
It literally means what it says. It’s a DLC sized expansion… meaning it’s pretty big as compared to something a normal mod team might attempt to do, but maybe not as large as an entirely new game, and it’s made by fans of the game.
It either has size of DLC or size of an expansion. It cannot have both. If it is DLC sized, then it is DLC and not expansion.
Sir, you are correct! It should be written the other way around : An expansion-sized DLC. That would make sense.
It isn’t a DLC… it’s a mod… that expands the game.
Sounds almost like you’re being obtuse on purpose. I think “expansion” is just being used to describe that the mod expands the game. DLC sized, because most mods are very simple game or architectual changes to mechanics, etc,. whereas this one is adding a good chunk of London. An expansion on a house can be 1 room, or an entirely new “wing” of rooms. There have been plenty of DLCs out there that add 6-8 hours of additional gameplay. This one claims to be about the size of Vanilla Fallout 4 commonwealth. All of the content that the FO:L folks have put out claim it’s a “DLC-sized mod” so … my god… this site just really pulls out the “let’s criticize” in everyone…. even me.
Can somebody explain the link or relevance of Starfield to this expansion? It’s not explained in the article.
Because the modders are going to be playing starfield 10 hours a day. They won’t have time to mod fallout. And once they play starfield, they will want to make mods for it because it’s fun.
Lol this is why I take any mod with a grain of salt. These fan projects rarely ever come out. Only the most dedicated ones actually come out. And when it does it’s not what you expect.
Looks great! Look forward to checking it out
