Microsoft has announced – via a Comic-Con Recap video – that Fable Legends is coming to Xbox One and PC on October 13th. Fable Legends is powered by Unreal Engine 4, will be free-to-play, and will offer cross-play between Xbox One and PC.
According to its description, Fable Legends unites the classic gameplay that players have come to love from the series with all of the next-generation capabilities of Xbox One.
“For the first time, grab your friends and go on adventures – up to four Heroes can cooperatively discover the quests and stories of Albion. Or, play the villain where you can mastermind the game in real time. “Fable Legends” takes advantage of the graphical processing power of Xbox One, and when coupled with Unreal Engine 4, delivers a rich and beautiful world.”
Enjoy!

Free-to-play. Ugh.
Screw Fable we want Forza and Halo on PC.
“all of the next-generation capabilities of Xbox One” Like what? 900p resolution? 30FPS locked? How will it be an even playing field when PC gamers are running on 144hz screens, 60FPS+ and higher resolutions with keyboard/mouse?
‘Console parity’ It will surely be locked at 30 FPS.
That’s exactly what I was thinking too.
Please m$ don’t even bother wasting money on this.
They did.. and it needs a lot of work.. It is nothing like any previous Fable Game.. and that is tragic.. because they were some of the best titles on the Xbox Platform.. especially when it came to originality..
Man.. they really make this game sound freaking awesome.. Unfortunately for me.. I have played it.. and It needs a ton of work before it reaches that level.. It could happen with several big changes.. but then again.. that’s how the Free to Play Model is the most successful I suppose.
By the way, it is not coming on 13th October apparently 😛

Not sure why people are dissing the free to play aspect of this.
Think of it this way, would you have EVER payed money for this game? for many, probably not. At least if it is free, you can try it and see if you like it. If they f*** it up and it sucks, then at least you didn’t spend any money.
