  1. How much you want to bet they added 3 new characters, 2 new maps and 1 new game mode?
Or it’s a reskin with Episode 7+ themes.

    1. Why so much hate? Square Enix will recycle Tomb Raider to death too, and Ubisoft will recycle their franchises. Don’t like don’t buy, I’d rather play game that keeps for hooked for 100s of hours than game that costs 10x less and I get bored of in 10 hours.

      1. “Square Enix will recycle Tomb Raider to death too, and Ubisoft will recycle their franchises.”

Your point being, what, exactly? That everyone else does it too? So, what? Do they not get shat on for doing it as well?

Then what’s the point of this utterly pointless comparison, exactly?

“I’d rather play game that keeps for hooked for 100s of hours than game that costs 10x less and I get bored of in 10 hours.”

Ridiculously subjective, as your “100s of hours” MP game could bore someone else to death in 10 hours, whereas the “got bored of in 10 hours” game could last someone else 50+ hours, instead, making the cheaper game a better option for them.

      2. Hate? I don’t recall typing a hateful comment.

What I hate is people thinking they can tell me what to do.
“Don’t like don’t buy” don’t tell me how I use my disposable income. What if i enjoy buying bad games and enjoy hating on them? If I cannot enjoy it “your way” I’m bloody well going to enjoy it my way, you cheeky c*nt.

As you can see. That paragraph has hate, not my comment asking for betting money.
Personally, I’m kinda of excited for the Battlefront 2 but I cannot get five up votes from sh*tposting that. 😉

      1. Aw, stop being so mean about the award winning EA. *

        * Worst Company in America 2012
        Worst Company in America 2013

          1. so yeah online passes are a thing of the past, now it’s all about microtransactions, DLC and early access…
so much better than 2013 EA…

          2. Online pass you mean TF2?
            microtransaction in what game?
DLC? EA to make DLC was not the first and was not the last….

“so much better than 2013 EA”
Really got better!Only men who have been in 2013 or 2012, can not see it!

          3. Here’s what’s EA’s fault?
Allow BioWare 5 years for development with high budget!
The fault was of bad management from BIoWare to establish new studio!
Because of one game you forget any good games/wrok from EA?
            EA after 2013…

            Make better sport game
            EA Originals program
            Clean&established new studio
            Better investment for the future
Giving more time&freedom for the development of game
            And more…..

            Only hater can’t see that.
I invited you to look at 2017-2018 and 2019 EA games!

          4. The game didn’t need to take 5 years, if they’d actually bothered to hire proper people with actual experience, rather than college graduates, but, of course, that would have cost them more, so yeah, no can do.

EA established the studio, & attached the BioWare label to it rather than BioWare itself, but nice try.

What good games? What good game that’s actually worth buying has EA released this decade?

            – DA:I is a good game? What? Sorry kid, but masses of people beg to differ (cue you quoting critics now)
            – BF1 is a re-skinned joke without a shred of originality to its name (at least you didn’t go with SWBF – LOL)
            – Titanfall is only published by EA, they don’t own the studio, so they only have so much influence over its development, so, yeah…… Try again?
            – Unravel – see above.
            – Haven’t touched Plants v. Zombies in ages, not since EA crashed the series last time, so I’ll leave this one to someone else.
            – “Make better sport game” The f*ck does that even mean?
            – “EA Originals program” This is a pro in your book? Besides, this is basically just a spinoff on the EA Partners program, & that one only had a couple of hits as well, so I’m not expecting much out of this one, either.
            – “Clean&established new studio” What? Again, what the f*ck does this even mean?
            – “Better investment for the future” What? How? By selling out to them & becoming yet another studio that’s been gutted, wh*red to sh*t, & then finally shut down by the almighty Electronic Assh*les?
            – “Giving more time&freedom for the development of game
And more…..” This is a joke, right? Please tell me this is a joke. If not, feel free to provide me with an actual example of these absurd allegations (no, Andromeda doesn’t count).

            – “I invited you to look at 2017-2018 and 2019 EA games!” Once again I find myself thinking; what.

            P.S. Check’s in the mail.

          5. Like always, you can not accept anything!(
BF1 is a re-skinned lol :)) With that, I understand that you are a noob no more! :))
I bet you did not play :))”if you play it give me you Origin/PSN/gamertag ID to see what you have done.

Oh *_*I’m crazy because I waste my time arguing with you.

          6. *googles gamer tag*

*grabs gamer tag from Google search results*

            *links gamer tag*

No, seriously, I just love it when someone goes “link gamer tag” like that means anything. Why don’t you link me “your” gamer tag, instead? Let’s see how much BF1 you’ve played, eh?

Oh, & don’t forget to link a legal document proving that the gamer tag belongs to you, of course……

            /eyeroll.

          7. Do you expect me to talk with you, while you still can’t understand Gamertag is Xbox username?
And can’t understand that TF&unravel published by EA Which means that they are EA games.

if you are hate EA,s..t your mouth and don’t buy/Pirates EA game…Kiddo

          8. I can’t believe that in 2017 I still have to explain that there’s a difference between “studio owned by publisher” & “studio in licensing agreement with publisher.”

Then again, you are that thick, aren’t you. Alright, then; a studio that’s in a publishing agreement may &/or may not be taking money from the publisher in order to actually fund development. Depending on how much that money is, the publisher gets different degrees of influence on the actual development process, itself.

Regardless of what, however, unless the publisher is funding the entire game, then their influence is far more limited than with studios which they own, wholly & utterly (i.e. BioWare, DICE, Visceral, etc.). Ergo, the non-EA owned studios have far more freedom to avoid EA’s moronic decisions than EA-owned studios do.

Of course, as Titanfall 2 so aptly pointed out, when EA sets a release date, you can still crash & burn because of it, but that’s a separate point.

            *googles PSN Gamer Tag*

            Oh, sh*t! It’s a thing people understand! 😮

            Shocking, isn’t it.

          9. lol
            New IP Bioware
New IP visceral by creative director Amy Hennig
            NEW Need for Speed
            New IP Hazelight studio
            and more…is s.t for you…yes!everything is s..t for you!

            Pandamic/Bullfrog a overrated game studio.
visceral game/Criterion/BioWare still around and making great games.
Never forget EA for shut doing Westwood…

          10. – Great! And? There’s no guarantee BioWare’s new IP won’t be as broken as Massive Side-Effects: Androgynous Syndrome is.
            – Visceral? Oh, you must mean the Star Wars game EA assigned them to work on. Not exactly a new IP.
            – A new NFS game? Wow. What an accomplishment – wait, remind me again, who gives a f*ck by this point? Unless, of course, it’s a Slightly Mad Studios game? Though, that’s impossible, of course, because EA would never pay them to make it, so yeah.
Also, how is that something to be bragging about, exactly? The last NFS game was in 2015, it’s not like they’re “bringing back” the IP or something, after all, it never went anywhere.
            – Who? Oh, that’s right, nobody. “A portion of the team that worked on Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons” is the only thing their resume seems to list, so, yeah, nice try.

            – Pandemic is what? Wow, yeah, nice argument, kiddo. Way to justify sh*tcanning an entire studio, after running them right into the ground, right there; “they were overrated, anyway, so f*ck them.”

            – Visceral is making what? Dead Space 3: sh*t. Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel: utter sh*t. Battlefield Hardline: sh*t campaign, great multiplayer, so….. that’s what, a half point?
            – Criterion is making….. oh, look at that, nothing. EA dropped them from NFS in 2013 (& they weren’t even the primary developers on Rivals), & ever since they’ve “helped” on Hardline, made a single VR game for the PS, & are now working on SWBF2. Yeah, they’re still “making great games”, yeah. No seriously, kid, are you for real?
            – BioWare is “making great games”? Like what, Dragon Age: The Social Justice Inquisition? Massively Defective: Androgynous?

          11. “Mass Defect: Andromeda”

From having observed the character art it could be referred to as…

            Mass Effect: Androgynous

          12. i’m legit curious how much is EA paying you for shilling out to them
titanfall 2 is the only positive example in a sea of DLC abuse
battlefield 1-season pass costs more than the base game! (50$ even still)
same thing with star wars battlefront 1 and soon 2

microtransactions are everywhere, short-cut packs, level up packs (mass effect, Dragon age) and even skins
the worst offender are def_ the short cut packs because it’s purely pay to win

let’s not forget the horrible games EA published the last 4 years
not a single f**king game they released from 2013-2017 was worth buying

          13. EA paying me???the funniest thing I ever heard thank you for making me laugh kiddo ?

          14. this is even sadder , that EA has a f**king die-hard boy who defends them fiercely
how old are you? 12? 14?

          15. EA is alive, just a child can not understand that.
I do not know why I waste my time with a child

          16. you’re the f**king child here dumbass, i don’t know how much EA is paying to suck their C*ck but the DSO community sure as hell won’t listen to your ramblings

i won’t bother with your idiocy any longer blocked.

          17. Again you making me laugh kid ? EA paying me? lol
If I am a fan of a company according to your word that company’s paying me :))nice try kid
            God help you…
I have nothing to say with you.

          18. Translation: “It’s been a few years, sh*t’s changed.”

            Except, oh wait, it hasn’t!

            😮

          19. Oh, it’s the drunk guy!

            Now I remember you!

Hey, did you change your avatar in a drunken stupor, & then decided to go with it, drunkie?

  2. I learned from the first one, about it being 95% online based, and then of course the user base on PC dying off, not because it was the customer’s fault, but EA’s on delivering a lacklustre AAA title and a hefty season pass, a pass that dripped maps over a year in piece meals.

Even after a whole year and a half, I ended up buying the season pass for cheap, but by then the user base had moved onto better games and other ones like BF1, so in the end there was never really a point in me investing in the season pass at all. I’ve learned that lesson and I won’t be touching the next installment until EA stops trying to kill off and gouge the community on PC.

Also put in a damn server browser ffs.

    1. I wonder what 3k players who play it daily on PC are doing then if it’s DEAD.

SWB has more players than Titanfall 2…

      1. Source for that? See, I can find the 3K for SWBF you’re quoting, but I can’t seem to find any equivalent site for TF2.

Besides, 3K (PC) is dead. I mean, wow, even the Xblower has almost triple those numbers, & the PoorStation 4 has four times as many players, for a total of 24,000 people.

Yeah, no, SWBF console is just about dead, whereas the PC version specifically is dead, period.

As for Titanfall 2; it’s not over a year old, it’s still got content coming in (free content, not paid DLC), so, yeah, calling it “dead” is a little premature. Multiplayer games always have a chance to take off after launch, so long as they don’t go & take the all-out stupid approach, like SWBF did right from the get-go.

    1. “Another £45-50 please”

it’s insane to see MP based games costing you £80+, and the content ends up being copy+pasted and dries up within the first 2 years.

      1. What’s more insane? Me for spending 90 € on Battlefield and playing it for 2 years and reaching 100s of hours of playtime?

Or people who buy AAA single player game for 60 € and play it for 10 hours?
Or people who cry about steam sales because they lose money, spend 100 € on 30 lame games they barely touch, and end up having less enjoyment with 30 games than I do with 1?
Or people who spend 100s of € in f2p and other games that have serious microtransaction monetization?

        1. “Me for spending 90 € on Battlefield and playing it for 2 years and reaching 100s of hours of playtime?”

Congratulations. You officially belong to a minority. Also, thanks for supporting the destruction of yet another multiplayer community courtesy of paid-DLC map packs 😀

“Or people who buy AAA single player game for 60 € and play it for 10 hours?”

Should I bother to point out that a 10-hour playtime qualifies someone for a full refund on Steam these days, or should I just point out that AAA sales are dropping, & 10 hour games are no longer the norm, anyway, since the new fad is wanna-be “open world” games?

“Or people who cry about steam sales because they lose money, spend 100 € on 30 lame games they barely touch, and end up having less enjoyment with 30 games than I do with 1?”

          What.

“Or people who spend 100s of € in f2p and other games that have serious microtransaction monetization?”

You mean that special bunny 1% of the entire playerbase? Yeah, nice argument.

          Try again.

          1. And I love how spending 90 € on the game you play for 400 hours is BAD AND GOTTA HATE EM, while spending 90 € on 30 games is ok, even though most of the time people won’t play them nearly as much in total.

          2. Which speaks volumes of yourself.

Inb4 mirror, because that’s all you have at this point.

          3. You’ve always been that guy to hate on people that dislike bad business practices, the minority going against the majority for no reason that’s within sane logic.

          4. Why is it all about play time with you? Why can’t the 30 games I bought for 90€ be superior than the one, single game you bought for 90€. regardless of total time spent playing them?

I mean, those 30 games, assuming we’re talking about 30 games of actual quality, means I got to play 30 interesting, possibly even quite diverse &/or unique games, even, whereas in the meantime, you spent 90€ playing the same, single game, for even longer than I spent on those 30 games, total, combined.

Yet, somehow you really believe you got more out of those 90€ than I did? Hm.

        2. i avoid mp because i have anger issues,so i don´t spend 80euro on a game that later will be free to play.

        3. how much money did you wasted on those games, and what would you do if they just close the studio to begin another money exploiter?

        1. Better to go F2P than to gouge 50 per person and then the community dying off, basically having no one getting 5 years worth of fill for online play.

    1. IKR? some people say ” i have 100 hourn in game mp bla bla bla” aske them how much money they spend in micro,in skins and sh*t like that, later those studios decide to close the servers too move to another money exploiter and voi lá all that money spend for nothing!

  3. Remember those good Battlefront games that we killed ? No ? Remember that awful Battlefront game that we released in 2015 ? Yeah ? it’s the sequel to that, now Pre-order for crap edition and pay 100$ more for 1 week early access.
