Techland has announced that it has sold 5 million copies of Dying Light 2 Stay Human as of February 28th, 2022. Moreover, the team claimed that this sales number is significantly growing each month.
The Polish studio also stated that the first Dying Light recently achieved over 20 million lifetime sales to date.
Pawel Marchewka, Techland’s CEO, said:
“The success of the Dying Light franchise is a great example of the unforgettable experiences we create for our players.”
As the press release reads, both games have been lauded by the Steam community, with a Mostly Positive sentiment for Dying Light 2 Stay Human and an Overwhelmingly Positive sentiment for Dying Light, across more than 230,000 reviews.

Don’t buy it. These numbers prove that techland is full of sh*t about needing to use DENUVO. Oh hell, Sekiro & Elden Ring have proven that as well. Techland is very disrespectful in the way they frame their use of DENUVO. But then want to come over to GOG & milk that after they’ve finished milking steam. Techland is one of the most disrespectful publishers/developers out there.
Don’t worry, my price for games is around 15 USD, so it will take some time to get there.

Damn dude, I’m the same way. I won’t spend more than 10-15 dollars anymore. I just bought Godfall for 10 dollars, I would be pissed if I paid full price. I just realize that God fall is the same rubbish gameplay as God of war 4. These games all feel like 3rd year student projects. No veteran feel to them. I remember when I played Gears Of War 3 and jumped in the silverback; Man o’man what an experience. I haven’t had that feeling in over a decade in using any gaming mechanics. It’s all so incomplete feeling. I’ve saved so much money by just waiting 2- 3 years after release to play a game. Every single have that’s released is basically the hitman 2016 model (episodic), because they are incomplete until 2-3 years later.
Look at Cyberpunk, the game was release almost 2 years ago and there are still talking about “things to come”. What a Fuqing shame and these gamers just don’t care. SMH

Played it all, seen it all, not satisfied with the direction gaming industry is going in. So instead of playing AAA garbage we end up playing Inscryption instead.

I liked to slice enemies in half in the first game, bonus point if i slice enemies in half with a status effect like eletricity.
