Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen – PC Framerate Won’t Be Locked, More Tech Details Coming Soon

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen was announced for the PC yesterday, and thankfully this title won’t be locked at 30fps. As Capcom’s Senior Director of Digital Platforms stated, the game will support 60+fps, as well as all the usual graphics options found in the other MT Framework-based games.

As Capcom’s Senior Director of Digital Platforms wrote on NeoGAF:

“Tons of folks asked whether the upcoming PC port will have a capped frame rate. With DDDA being an MT Framework-based game, you can rest assured it’ll have the usual graphics options found in other Capcom PC titles.”

Capcom will have more details to share regarding tech specs and features in the coming weeks/months, so stay tuned for more.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is coming to the PC this January!

      1. I always think that.. every time i hear news like these ;/ Funny thing is, it’s been happening for years now. I wish it was a new thing, exclusive to 2015. Im tired of it, and the consoles too..

  1. All of the Capcom MT Framework games I’ve played on PC have had great optimisation and I expect this one to follow in the footsteps of DMC4, RE5, Lost Planet and so on.

    1. Although, the MT Framework 2.0 used in DMC4 special edition is under-performing(still performing mighty well compared to others but) compared to its original release, with just some addition of dof, ao, motion blur and better shadows.

  2. i still can’t believe this game is coming to PC. now i hope we see RDR soon although it seems R* lost their main codes or some stupid **** like that but who knows.

      1. They didn’t lose it actually but they messed the code to the point that reusing it again to make a PC version is nearly impossible , the same level of making a port for MGS4

  3. My only gripe with this game is having to wait until January to play it, I’ve waited enough already.
