Disgaea Launches February 24, Limited Physical Release Announced

NIS America has announced Disgaea will launch on Steam on February 24, priced at $19.99 for the Digital Deluxe Dood Edition. The package includes a digital artbook and soundtrack.

Much more exciting however is the physical edition of the Deluxe Dood Edition, available in NIS America’s store for $10 more. It’s the same stuff but in retro touchable form.

    1. I agree, they testing the pc market for this port.If this succeed, more port will drop. And im sure the port quality will decent just like akiba’s trip

    2. If they just want to test Disgaea on PC then 20$ for a very old game is stupid. Why won’t they release their latest Disgaea 5? Console exclusivity?
      …. pfft —__—

Edit : It’s obvious they want to milk Disgaea(1) as much as possible

      1. The thing with Disgaea though is the series is not exactly connected. Yeah, the protagonists of the other games appear but only as a minor/side character/DLC and the gameplay hasn’t changed that much so even if they release Disgaea 5 the 1st timers won’t miss that much

  1. Limited Physical Edition for a simple PC port? Is this really a Japanese developer? Granted, it doesn’t come with an install disc, it’s still nice to see them going this far when they didn’t even had to.
