Now here is something really cool. Team Spino has released the PC demo for its upcoming game that will turn you into a great sword-wielding Spinosaurus. If you are a fan of dinosaurs and action games, you should definitely check it out.
Dinoblade is an action RPG set in a prehistoric world transformed by a massive disaster that changed dinosaurs forever. You play as a young Spinosaurus who wields a huge Great Sword filled with ancient power. You’ll battle rival dinosaurs, some carrying deadly weapons of their own, in a fight to stop another extinction from happening.
Players will explore a huge world filled with amazing locations, from dry canyons to dark, misty jungles. Each area will be ruled by a powerful Alpha, an apex predator that blocks your path forward. Thus, you’ll have to defeat these fierce enemies to grow stronger. You’ll learn new skills, unlock powerful abilities, and create your own fighting style. You can chain together attacks, dodge, roll, and parry at the right moment, and find legendary weapons hidden throughout the world.
Basically, think of it as Sekiro and Dark Souls with dinosaurs. In theory, this shouldn’t work. In practice, though, it’s actually pretty cool. And you know what? I kind of love it. I’ve always been a big dinosaur fan. So as long as it’s not another dino park builder, I’m totally on board.
