Dead Space Remake will now officially release in early 2023

Electronic Arts has just announced that Dead Space Remake will officially release in early 2023. The publisher was originally targeting a 2022 release date for this upcoming remake. However, and most likely due to COVID-19, the game has been delayed.

Furthermore, EA Motive released a new Audio Developer Livestream for Dead Space Remake. This livestream will focus on the studio’s philosophy for taking Dead Space’s award-winning audio design to the next level by bringing the game to today’s generation of platforms and the new Frostbite Engine.

Here are the key features discussed in this livestream.

  • The A.L.I.V.E. System. Your first chance to hear how the system that controls Isaac’s heart rate, breathing, and dialogue delivery will sound
  • Audio Occlusion. How audio levels will be controlled through different materials and surfaces as well as projected audio down hallways
  • Weapons. Listen to both the original Plasma Cutter and the Pulse Rifle and the updates to these iconic sounds

Stay tuned for more!

    1. LTBGZZF+ Themed Life indicator….that’s what i am hopping for…and god willing a wheelchair for fast travel!

    1. I wonder how are they going to handle the fact that the only black dude dies and the villain is a woman.

      1. They will change it up a bit. Hero will be empowered black woman, black dude that dies will be now white and villain will be orange man.

    2. Why now a days most of the characters are like this??? like you mentioned half shaved hairsyles, why???

  1. I hope it never comes out. They literally murdered Visceral and now they want to make more money off of their work.
    F*ck off EA.
A remake literally no one sane wanted. A continuation? Maybe. But not this.

    1. They murdered Visceral, how? The lead design admitted the games didn’t sell much. Even Dead Space 2, which is considered a masterpiece, didn’t recoup its investment. Blame people for not buying Dead Space. That’s why Visceral shut down. No company is in the business of losing money.

  2. The fist game was an homage to Alien aesthetic scenery wise but stil very much a thing of its own. Now the remake is just a plain copy, absolutely soulless.
