Darksiders Genesis Patch #4 released, featuring Map Position improvements and Bug Fixes

Airship Syndicate has released a brand new update for Darksiders Genesis. According to the release notes, Patch #4 adds a ping and location marker to show the area the player is in. Moreover, it forces the map to recenter back to the player location when opened.

In addition, this patch brings some tweaks to the HUB: Leviathan’s Landing area. For instance, collision is now more consistent across all sections. The patch also adjusts the timing and platforming elements to make jumps more reliable.

Naturally, this update also comes with some bug fixes. For example, it fixes missing collision behind the trickster door that could cause the player to get stuck in HUB. It also fixes issues with camera becoming detached from player in multiplayer, as well as an issue with ledge spikes not working properly or syncing correctly for the client. Not only that, but this patch adds an option to set the right and left stick deadzones.

As always, Steam will download Patch #4 the next time you launch its client. You can also find its complete changelog here!
