Darksiders Genesis Patch 2 now available, adds Mayhem Difficulty & Game Speed, fixes numerous bugs

Airship Syndicate has released the second major update for Darksiders Genesis. According to the release notes, Patch 2 adds the Mayhem Difficulty Mode and Game Speed. However, do note that Game Speed is only working in Single player or Split Screen.

Moreover, this patch adds an option to direct melee attacks toward mouse cursor. It also new idle animations for Dis when outside of the shop screen, subtle camera zooms to large enemy finishers, and allows enemies to display an outline if visually blocked.

Furthermore, Patch 2 comes with a number of fixes for numerous Missions. For instance, it fixes mission quest progress notifications not showing up if you hadn’t open the map in that level. It also fixes various platforms in Leviathan’s Landing to be more consistent and less frustrating.

Lastly, Update 2 also brings various Multiplayer fixes. Thus, it fixes an issue in MP that caused players to get put under the world when knocked off a ledge by spikes, as well as an issue that would cause the host to get stuck on an infinite loading screen when a client quit.
