Cyberpunk 2077 case modding competition and new gang logos

In a week’s time Cyberpunk 2077 would be releasing, if we were in another dimension. However, we still got some time ahead of us. Maybe it’s for the best. So back in our dimension, CD Projekt Red recently announced a case modding contest.

They call it ‘Cyber-up Your PC’ contest, and they invite fans from all around the world to design their own PC case mod, by drawing inspiration from the style of Cyberpunk 2077.

If your entry is selected by CDPR’s panel of judges, you’ll be able to team up with a professional case modder to turn your desing concept into reality.

Whoever wishes to participate in the contest will have to submit his entry before 3PM CEST on May 17th. For more details you can check the official page here.

Lastly, CDPR released several assets for the creators to use in their designs. In the pack you will find corporate logos, PC case templates and four posters.

Also, there are logos for the various gangs in the game’s world. We have the 6th Street, Animals, Maelstrom, Moxes, Tyger Claw, Valentinos, and the Voodoo Boys.

Have fun and good luck guys!

  1. Why do i feel like the Mox are meant for the SJW crowd? Is it too subtle
to have one or two of the gangs do repugnant s$&^ because they need the
money and influence to help keep their neighborhoods safe from worse
gangs? Instead you just get this obvious “We are the good guy gang! Ally
with us!” Like WTF man!? Now its either a front or it really is just a
crap gang for the SJW crowd.

    1. They’re basically a play on The Guardian Angels, but for helping prostitutes. Who weren’t a gang, per se, but they certainly where a group of people who all dressed in specific clothing and attire and helped average people who were the victims of crime. Change average person to sex workers and you get The Mox(Moxes what ever they’re called)

  3. This contest is BS. And I’m quite disappointed @Chris Kountouras for not even taking the time to do his due diligence and actually inform us of the real state of the contest.

The phrase: ” they invite fans from all around the world to design their own PC case mod, by drawing inspiration from the style of Cyberpunk 2077″ is just PR garbage talk.

If you actually read the rules carefully, it states that all entries must draw inspiration (or use as base concept) from the Alienware Aurora R9 (the same one you see in the trailer), and nothing else, otherwise your concept will be discarded.

And there are also stringent rules against modifying any of the front part of that case, position of the fans, case must retain it’s panels closed, etc.

Basically what they’re asking us to do is to design a new case for Alienware with a bunch of logo stickers on the side. That’s it.

    1. You mean the ten page long PDF? I did not see it, probably because I wasn’t looking for it, since I’m not interested in the completion. Even so, you are right, I should have.

      1. Well?

Are you at least going to update the article with the correct information, or are you just going to brush everything under rug?
