It appears that the PC version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare suffers from some technical/visual issues. As we’ve already reported, the game requires a constant Internet connection even for its single-player mode. Not only that, but the game suffers from major pop-in and cutscene stutters issues.
Below you can find a video showcasing the awful pop-in issues. This video footage was captured with all of the graphics settings enabled. As such, PC gamers will have to deal with these pop-ins and there is no way to fix them (at least for now).
Moreover, there are some awful stutters during the briefing cut-scenes. These cut-scenes are right before a mission starts (they are in video format and not real-time). As a result of these stutters, the game’s audio desynchronizes, thus making the cut-scenes feel really awkward. Now the good news here is that the in-game cut-scenes work perfectly fine.
Once you notice them, the pop-in issues can be really distracting. Therefore, we seriously hope that Infinity Ward and Beenox will be able to address these issues soon.

As with the other CoD games, the pre-rendered cutscenes are disguising loading, which is why the stuttering takes place, even on an SSD. You’d think they’d have found away around it by now. Hopefully they can fix it, it’s very jarring.

Even on my NVME 2tb drive I am getting issues with the cut-scenes and audio sync. It’s a shame as the cut-scences are stunning.
At least it’s online does not have ancient chinese hacks like ChinaField V does

The campaign is QUITE solid. Gameplay wise one of the best cod right there. The stutters are a damn shame sincerely. I have a very good system and i can’t get away with it and it pisses me 🙁

It has a Vram counter. This garbage game barely uses 4gb of Vram at 1080 with everything maxed.
yup I tried at medium textures which consumes 2,5gb but alas
8 GB of ram might not be enough.
