Call of Duty Black Ops 4 PC open beta has been launched

As promised, Activision and Treyarch have launched the PC open beta for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. The open beta client is around 20GB in size and you can download it from Battlenet.

The Multiplayer Beta will feature six modes—Team Deathmatch, Domination, Hardpoint, Kill Confirmed, Search & Destroy, and Control. You will battle over six distinct maps—the four already seen at various events, plus two new ones, Gridlock and Hacienda—across playlists that showcase all the content that the Specialists revel in.

This open beta testing was available to all those the pre-purchased the game yesterday, and has just been unlocked to everyone else. This basically means that you won’t have to pre-order the game in order to participate in this beta.

All participants in the PC Beta will receive a unique Call of Duty calling card they can display in the game. Players who achieve max rank in the beta will earn a Permanent Unlock Token to apply to any piece of Create-a-Class content when Black Ops 4 comes out.

Have fun!

  1. Unlike most people here, i actually like the CoD games.. but this one.. it looks ugly, i dont like how it plays, the new things are annoying me… the sound effects are not as cool as the ones from the older games and yea.. i have never installed a COD game and UNINSTALLED IT within 10m. I usually give around 1-2 hours to even the worst games.

    This truly is a record.

  2. How the hell to play it?

I click on “PC Open Beta Play Now” in Battle.net launcher and it redirects me into news. blizzard. com /en-us/blizzard/22030448/gear-up-and-get-in-early-on-the-call-of-duty-black-ops-4-pc-beta

    1. Let Battle.net update its client (or check updates to do it yourself). You need the latest version in order to download the beta.
