Call of Duty Black Ops 4 feature 3

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 multiplayer servers now running at 62hz, Blackout still remains at 20hz

Last week, we reported that Call of Duty Black Ops 4’s multiplayer and Blackout servers were running at 20hz. Naturally, a lot of gamers were disappointed by this however it appears that Treyarch and Beenox have significantly improved things as right now the multiplayer modes support 62hz send rates.

Reddit’s member ‘soja92‘ has done some tests and discovered that the multiplayer servers for Black Ops 4 are now running at 62hz. On the other hand, the Blackout servers are still locked at 20hz tickrates.

So yeah, while the Blackout servers are still not ideal, the multiplayer modes are now running as you’d expect (and similar to their open beta versions). This is definitely great news for Black Ops 4 fans, especially since Treyarch and Beenox have improved things prior to the release of Battlefield 5.

It’s unknown at this point whether the tickrates for the game’s battle royale mode, Blackout, will be increased. However, Black Ops 4 just got better with this upgrade. Not only that, but the game performs incredibly well on the PC platform (as we’ve reported in our PC Performance Analysis).

Kudos to Treyarch and Beenox for at least improving things in such a short time frame.

  1. Huh, I’m really surprised they did the community a solid and fixed the servers although 62hz is a strange tick-rate to use. They still need to fix the blackout mode(I’m guessing this is the BR mode?) and up that do it isn’t at 20hz.

there you low iq kunt, don’t get baited so easily again.

  2. Kudos to them for improving in such a short timeframe? – you mean like the short timeframe where they dropped their tickrate from 60 to 20 ?… no kudos from me, theyre a-holes for even doing so in the first place. If Battlenonsense hadnt found this out and it became a thing – they wouldnt have changed a damn thing at all.
