Gearbox has announced that Borderlands: Game of the Year and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection Ultra HD will be coming out on April 3rd. The former will be free to all owners of Borderlands while the latter will be available for free to those owning Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel.
Borderlands: Game of the Year will come with new weapons, visual upgrades, character heads, gold chests and keys, plus all 4 add-on packs. On the other hand, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection Ultra HD will come with higher resolution dynamic shadows, improved Screen Space Ambient Occlusion, and better anti-aliasing.

Well its going to be Free for me as I already own all of them on Steam. Also Borderlands 3 will be Free as well if its it an Epic Games Store Exclusive.

Sadly, with Prickford’s constant Epic praising and no mention of distro platform for PC to avoid negative EGS chatter online, it probably is. They are avoiding stamping anything (even on the Gearbox site). Just a slithery marketing 101 tactic to get people all excited using “partial truth” vs giving ALL the information consumers want.
Add Marketing Analytic Firms collecting mass data over time without consent who will then pump that “public perception” info through their consumer research NNs using millions of data points gathered, and that will give them the “best calculated guess” on the most effective timing to trick consumers further by drip feeding a bit more info about which PC gatekeeper people can buy it from.
Of course they will make people dip a s s cheeks in a vat of acid if they want to simply buy the game.
Ok this is all positive I guess…get people playing the games again prepping for Borderlands 3 official announcement. Free visual update for owners and maybe, newcomers can try it out. Here’s hoping its priced reasonably.
What about a FOV slider ? Tell me if there’s a FOV slider ! Borderlands 1 is unplayable because the FOV is way too narrow
You could always change it from the INI
Did you play borderlands ? because it wasn’t that easy, editing the INI would mess the sprinting and vehicle FOV
I have 100% verified both BL1 & the rest of the BL games will have a FOV slider!

I’d urge everyone to lower their hype a little. The fact they didn’t reveal a release date for Borderlands 3 is shady to say the least.

For Borderlands Game of the Year you’ll need to have a copy of the first Borderlands 1 game (the base game).

only if you own the original Physical copies you are as of right now… not going to get it.
