Bioware will showcase new gameplay footage for Anthem at this year’s Gamescom

Anthem was easily one of the most impressive games at this year’s E3. And according to Arekkz Gaming, Bioware will showcase some new gameplay footage from this upcoming Destiny-like game at Gamescom 2017.

It will be interesting to see what Bioware will showcase, and whether the Gamescom 2017 demo will be similar to the E3 2017 one.

Anthem is a new shared-world action-RPG in which players can team up with friends as Freelancers—the bold few with the courage to leave civilization behind and explore a landscape of primeval beauty.

Players will be able to wield an arsenal of Javelin exosuits, each equipped with unique weapons and abilities. Players can also band together with friends, confront the dangers you find, and grow in power with every step.

The game is currently planned for a 2018 release!

  1. This game has the potential to be what Destiny should’ve been (an still isn’t after looking at Destiny 2). A vast “actually engaging” and “dynamic” world that can be ventured alone or with companions.

I’m looking forward to the game but I’m not on the hype train until I see completely unscripted gameplay. A game that mixes Iron-Man, Destiny, Avatar and etc sounds very promising. It just has to deliver.

    1. I am on the hype train 🙂 , same I really like to see just normal gameplay and it sounds like that is what they will show.

The E3 video looked insane I think the game has massive potential I hope they don’t screw it up. Please be good.

  2. Even if they don’t downgrade it, they will f’ the release.

BioWare are terrible at making games, and have been for the past decade.
