Battlefield 2018 will be playable at EA Play 2018

Electronic Arts has announced that EA Play 2018 will take place in the Hollywood Palladium on June 9-11. This is EA’s annual special E3 event and during this event, the next Battlefield game, codenamed Battlefield 2018, will be playable. In addition, EA will also give us a glimpse at Bioware’s Anthem.

As EA noted:

“At EA PLAY 2018, you will have a chance to play our next Battlefield experience, new EA SPORTS games, and get an inside look at the stunning new action game, Anthem. The Sims 4 and our mobile games will be on hand, and of course, we have a few surprises as well.”

As always, EA will livestream this event, meaning that those that cannot attend it will be able to at least watch it online. We expect more news about Battlefield to be released in the next couple of months so stay tuned for more!

    1. Actually KKW is right on this one. Battlefield 1 was the number 2 best selling shooter last year. It has sold around 15 million copies so far and I don’t like it but according to EA’s Financial Statement Release last year they are making huge profits.

Off Topic: Blaming video games for school shootings continues here in the USA. Now President Trump has said that something must be done about violence in video games. No blame for children having access to their parents guns, especially assault weapons which serve no purpose other than killing people. Video games once again are the scape goat for child violence. I hope this nonsense doesn’t escalate.

      1. (But you can skip the queue for $20, and buy a lootbox that guarantees a foam finger in a uncertain colour as well as either a balloon or a decal plastic beer cup for an additional $30. Or you have to grind to the front of all the queues to experience a sense of achievement.)

  1. Are these Battlefield games any good now? I used to love playing BF1942 but the last two I played (BFBC2 and BF3) were crap.
