Bandai Namco has just announced a new RPG that will be using Unreal Engine 5, called Echoes of Aincrad. Echoes of Aincrad will be coming to PC on July 10th, and below you can find its debut in-engine trailer.
In Echoes of Aincrad, players will step into the floating castle of Aincrad, a world of breathtaking beauty and danger where every battle could be their last. According to the devs, they will enter a mysterious, vibrant world and shape their fate.
You will be able to create your hero, choose your gear, and master combat through your special skills and reflexes. You’ll also build synergy with the partner of your choice, level up, and unlock powerful abilities as your horizon expands with every victory.
According to the game’s description, players will shape their adventure and determine their fate by adapting their equipment, weapons, statistics, partner, and special skills to reflect their favor for speed, intelligence, or endurance. Naturally, you will be able to level up your characters to make them stronger. You can also deepen the synergy with your partner, adapt their tactics and build to create a team dynamic that turns every battle into a triumph.
The game promises to have a variety of environments. You will be able to explore serene plains, as well as perilous dungeons that are filled with secrets. You will be able to complete quests, hunt rare treasures, and challenge formidable foes in real-time action combat. The map will also expand as your story unfolds, revealing new areas and dangers at every turn.
For what it’s worth, Bandai Namco has not yet revealed the game’s PC system requirements. As soon as it does, we’ll be sure to share them with you.
