Good for owners of both brands.
Yep
Hell I’m even tempted to fire up the 3D Vision for GTA 5.
Yeah with Excellent rating you can’t go wrong.
I’m definitely trying it when I get the game, which may be a while. Money is tight.
I’ll try it in 3D today, and I’ll let you know what it’s like, maybe get a crew together when you’re ready perhaps.
Thank you Nvidia let’s see this driver in action!
Why amdsucks? I know you are a fanboy. You can hate AMD and love nvidia, but creating a profile called amdsucks is showing me that you are a troll
no i just don’t like AMD!
Well. You hate without reasons? If you hate something, and you use AMD logo, and your name is AMDsucks i think you are crazy. If i hate something, i dont name it
🙁
I dont want so sound bad, but i m honest
To do something without reason basically fulfill definition of insanity.
Remeber nV always have Bad breath trolls rolling on sites and whiming on AMD they don’t even Have !
Sometimes they have multiple accounts 😉 with AMD specs on some ! To spread Hate ex. “AMD drivers suck” WTF The are Great.
And i have Radeon and nV and don’t have problems with drivers on both sides -> But i prefer Radeon cuz its Beter IMO (GCN is Great really DX11_1 + DX12_3 + Mantle + FreeSync etc.)
My Main Gaming RIG is AMD Only ! CPU x6 + 280X and now i’m plaing Dying Light and i have 60FPS average on Ultra noAA 1792:1344 85Hz with nV features ON 😀
STOP Whiming START Plaing !
“Remeber nV always have Bad breath trolls rolling on sites ”
It’s the same for some AMD fanboys too.
“But i prefer Radeon cuz its Beter IMO (GCN is Great really DX11_1 + DX12_3 + Mantle + FreeSync etc.)”
Which feature from DX you use and it doesn’t run well on NV GPUs too? I would say there is no one. For FreSync, you have alternative solution for NV GPUs. The only one advantage is Mantle. It offers better performance, but that has nothing to do with GCN. If you make HW close API for NV architectures, performance would be in the same level.
IMO my Bro, i’m not Trolling. Just Prefer Radeon 😉 thats all.
Greets
Maybe, i feed him because i am a troll. I can be crazy, but not like a troll.
GTA5 runs and looks amazing so far.
Even at 1440p, I haven’t had a hiccup yet.
This makes me a very happy person.
Yep same here, Runs great at 1440p.
Just got word that my pre-order copy got delayed due to shipping issues. So upset right now.
I wish I could. The game is apparently 60 gigs big and my ISP would likely assassinate me if I tried to download it. Will wait eagerly for that FedEx van to show.
The new Nvidia driver was actually causing me constant crashes. After rolling back to the previous driver I can play normally, and there is no performance different that I could tell.
color me impressed. even though its too late i didn’t expect the game to be optimized. good job and they are selling it like cupcake. it’s rare to see 2k reviews so soon for a game on steam.
I see some performance increase in Unity. Better complete it before my retail copy of GTA 5 arrives 😀
Mostly getting 60 and was able to boost textures and some options past recommended without a performance hit but a lot of drops even at recommended specs. AMD driver is bad and glitchy at the minute. May try some SMAA injection later and see how it goes but FXAA coverage is actually very good for once instead of a smeared mess. They really did take the time with this port. Shame AMD dropped the ball. Hearing no issues at all Green team side.
tested with and without driver. same result, not a single fps boost. it was 59fps and still is 59fps. with 4xmsaa it might drop to 54 55fps sometimes
im using amd/windows 8.. but in amd link its only for windows 7 and 8.1… which 1 need i choose?
