Microsoft has announced the Definitive Edition of Age of Empires 3. The game will be releasing on October 15th on both Steam and Xbox Store. In addition, the team has released a new trailer for it that you can find below.
Age of Empires III: Definitive Edition completes the celebration of one of the most beloved real-time strategy franchises with remastered graphics and music, all previously released expansions and brand-new content to enjoy for the very first time.
The game will feature two new game modes: Historical Battles and The Art of War Challenge Missions. Furthermore, it will support online play.
Players will be able to challenge other players with updated online multiplayer with cross network play. Not only that, but the game will support mods from the get-go.

Not as good as AoE2, but still pretty good
aoe2 got a bit slow with the base building did they make the missions faster like command and conquer?
Will they change the progression system? The only reason anyone tolerated it in the original release was because it was so easy to circumvent with a simple edit to a text file.
