Back in January, we informed you about a must-have HD mod for Skyrim Special Edition. And earlier this week, modder ‘Pfuscher’ released a brand new version of his HD Texture Pack for Skyrim Special Edition.
Skyrim 2020 Version 3.5 is 5.4GB in size and overhauls numerous textures. For instance, this pack adds new textures and cubemaps for Goat, Highlandcow, Farmhouse, Markarth and Riften. It also overhauls the textures for Solitude, Tents, Whiterun, Windhelm, Winterhold and more.
Needless to say that this is a must-have mod for all Skyrim Special Edition players. Unfortunately, Pfuscher has not shared any new screneshots for this HD Texture Pack. As such, I’ve decided to include some screenshots from an older version of this mod.
Speaking of Skyrim Special Edition, there is also a 5.6GB HD Texture Pack for low-end PC systems. The Unofficial Performance Optimized Textures mod optimizes the vanilla HD textures for low-end PC systems. This mod will allow you to have a better experience when using older computers by reducing the load that it puts on your graphics card.

Console gamer here, but slowly and finally building a pc with ryzen 4000, at least 16cores, nvme pcie4 4950mb/s and a good amd zen2 graphic card, just to be able to play flight simulator 2020.
What are the specs required to play skyrim with these mods installed, at ultra ? I had bought skyrim for the ps4 pro, but even then, graphics looked so bad, textures looked so blurred, that my eyes were bleeding, the 2 hours I played it, before deleting it.
But one day, I would live to play it, with some insane graphics.
Sounds like you’ll have a fine time with it if you have specs like those.
