Oblivion Remastered Multiplayer Mod-1

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered Multiplayer Mod Announced

ReadyCode has announced that it will release a multiplayer mod for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered in Q2 2026. To celebrate this announcement, the team shared a new trailer that you can find below.

The Multiplayer Mod for Oblivion Remastered will be part of ReadyM. ReadyM is a sandbox platform that transforms existing single-player games into community-driven multiplayer worlds. It is designed to democratize the grassroots, community-driven model that turned Minecraft, Roblox, and GTA V’s FiveM into cultural phenomena. With its multiplayer framework, ReadyM aims to usher in a new era of boundless creativity, transforming simple consumption into co-creation across entire libraries of games that players already love.

In 2025, the team released WukongMP, a multiplayer mod for Black Myth: Wukong. WukongMP generated over 12 million organic views and 100,000 multiplayer playthroughs since its December 2025 launch

ReadyM gives players, modders, and server owners the tools to create entirely new multiplayer experiences within the games they love. These include cooperative campaigns, role-playing servers, custom economies, PvP arenas, new rulesets, and other forms of community-created content — all without requiring developers to rebuild their games from scratch.

Unlike traditional mods, which force creators to solve the same technical challenges over and over again, ReadyM provides the underlying infrastructure. This allows creators to focus on imagination, gameplay, and building unique experiences.

Julius Kopczewski, co-founder and CEO of ReadyCode, said:

“Some of the best multiplayer experiences in gaming came from players hacking things together because they wanted to play with friends. I’ve seen how powerful that can be, but also how fragile it is when every team has to rebuild from scratch. ReadyM offers these communities a solid foundation so their ideas can live longer and reach players across more than one game.”

Unlike traditional multiplayer mods that often struggle with hosting infrastructure and player discovery, ReadyM removes many of the technical barriers that have historically held community multiplayer back, including server complexity and mod compatibility.

With ReadyM, creators can focus on building the worlds, rules, and stories that players want to experience. Its comprehensive Creative SDK acts as a universal infrastructure layer, allowing successful games to unlock years of additional engagement, experimentation, and community-driven growth.

Bethesda’s Elder Scrolls franchise has long been celebrated for its modding community, and serves as a natural next step for ReadyM’s platform vision. Using ReadyM, Oblivion players will be able to explore Tamriel cooperatively, operate custom servers with unique rules and cultures, build guild territories and in-game economies, design new quests, and create entirely new game modes.

ReadyM also plans to launch a partnership program in 2026 to support existing grassroots multiplayer modding teams – including communities behind projects like Skyrim Together, Hogwarts Legacy multiplayer experiments, and Just Cause Multiplayer – offering shared standards, tooling, and visibility while allowing teams to retain their independence and creative direction. As these teams join, the platform compounds, growing into a grassroots modding culture that transforms gaming infrastructure.

Speaking of Oblivion Remastered, here are some other cool mods for it. There is a mod that adds 43 travelers to the roads of Cyrodiil. This will make the world feel more alive.

In May 2024, we shared a mod that brings a true first-person camera to the game. This mod will immediately remind you of Trespasser. It’s a cool mod, though I can’t classify it as a must-have. So, you can skip it if you are happy with the game’s default first-person camera viewpoint.

There are also mods that bring back the game’s original colors, make lights shine farther, and give female characters their own unique walking and running animations. So, it’s a good idea to check them out.

Let’s also not forget the first 4K Texture Pack for the game. This pack improved the textures of armors, weapons, clothing, and jewelry. To upscale the vanilla textures, its creator used AI tools. As such, the new textures retained the art style of the original ones.

We also have a mod that aims to improve the behavior of all animals. Plus, the creator of the amazing HD Reworked mods for The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 has released his first mods. So, make sure to check them out.

Another must-have mod is this one. Ultra Combat UE4SS – Physical Combat Overhaul will significantly improve the game’s combat system. This mod brings to Oblivion Remastered a few modern mechanics like Perfect Dodge, Perfect Guard, and slowmo for headshots. I’ve been playing the game with this mod, and I cannot stress enough how amazing it is. With this mod, all combat encounters feel much better than before.

One of the coolest mods I’ve seen is the Mad Destruction – DESTROY BUILDINGS Mod. This mod will let you destroy almost all of the game’s buildings. This isn’t a joke. Yes, there are some limitations. However, this is a mod that a lot of Oblivion fans will find cool. So, make sure to download it.

The Bees Needs W.A.S.P. Edition is another cool mod for Oblivion Remastered. This mod adds survival features like hunger, thirst, and fatigue. It makes the game more challenging and fun. If you want a more realistic experience, this is a great mod to try.

Finally, there is a mod that adds over 500+ hand-placed light sources to the Imperial City. We’ve also shared a Witcher-inspired DLC-sized Mod. So, be sure to check them out.

Enjoy the trailer and stay tuned for more!
