Modder ‘Volucris’ has released a new mod for STALKER 2 that restores two Duty side quests that were cut from the game. This is a simple/small mod that restores what the devs have already created. In other words, it does not add brand new missions or quests.
Going into more details, the mod restores two side quests that players can get from the Duty faction. The mod does not affect or change existing game scripts. Moreover, there isn’t any voice acting for dialogues, or any new animations. Still, I’m certain that some STALKER 2 fans may find them interesting.
This isn’t the first restoration mod that Volucris has released. In April 2025, he released a similar mod that restored the The Last Days quest/mission.
You can go ahead and download the mod from this link.
Speaking of STALKER 2, you may also want to try these other mods for it. So, this mod adds a Parkour-like climbing system to the game. Then we have this mod that allows you to fast-travel anywhere on the map.
In December 2024, we shared a mod that allowed you to loot all mutants. This was a feature present in all previous STALKER games that was apparently cut from STALKER 2.
You can also download a mod that will remove the inventory carry/weight limit. I’m not a fan of this last mod, but hey, some of you may like it. Finally, have a mod that can further improve the game’s graphics, and enable GTAO.
The last patch GSC GameWorld released for STALKER 2 was on April 25th. That patch brought some improvements, but the game’s A-Life 2.0 is still all over the place. According to the game’s roadmap, we can expect some tweaks and improvements in the next couple of patches. However, there is no exact ETA on when we’ll get the next patch.
Enjoy and stay tuned for more!
