Modder ‘Halk Hogan PL’, the man behind the amazing HD Reworked Project for The Witcher 3, has announced a similar project for Cyberpunk 2077.
Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project will aim to improve the game’s textures. And, in order to showcase some of the new textures, the modder released the following comparison video.
Unfortunately, there is no ETA on when the first version of this mod will come out. Naturally, though, we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Until Cyberpunk 2077 HD Reworked Project comes out, you can go ahead and try the following HD Texture Packs. There are currently packs that improve the textures of body skins, walls, roads, and vegetation, as well as all weapons, player faces, all posters and signs. You can also find high-resolution textures for Johnny Silverhand, Jackie, Panam & more.
Stay tuned for more!

While he is a die-hard PC gamer, his gaming roots can be found on consoles. John loved – and still does – the 16-bit consoles, and considers SNES to be one of the best consoles. Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2. Talented man. His textures look great and also don’t take much VRAM at all
They should hire him.
Why would they? He’s competent. The idea of to drag the work out so that get paid more. All this talk of crunch is a joke. The only people crunch is the ones at the bottom with imaginary time tables. The guys up top ain’t crunching a damn thing. They are the ones constantly changing crap
It’s been made quite clear by now that CDPR is not interested in hiring talented people.
Quotas are seems to be the main priority… not talent.
Quotas are seems to be the main priority… not talent.
One guy putting an entire crew of developers/activists to shame. I mean… well done.
One thing is retooling existing work which he is amazing at, and a different thing is making the whole texturing of a game from scratch achieving a unified style.
Not really a fair comparison. HalkHogan gets to work without deadlines or conflicting priorities. Totally different from game dev crunch.
He also does it for free…totally different from game dev crunch.
His skills are his skills. Paying him (which he was for inclusion of his work in W3 NG) wouldn’t automatically make his work higher quality.
Damn! I didn’t know that game had such blurry textures! (Never played it yet. I guess I’ll wait 5 more years.)
me too
why even bother playing this mediocre game?
Because you like call of duty.
well, some people just like that stuff. and others like me dont care about other peoples reviews. i saw many negative reviews of games that i actually enjoyed. also many games that were praised i found sometimes mediocre and boring. its a matter of taste bro
Hey Papa, since I know you love UE5 demos so much, here’s one of the best ones ever made:

We’ve stopped sharing TeaserPlay’s videos because most of them have the same animations and do not provide anything special. Still, this is at least better than what they usually post.
A true UHD reworked textures!
The dude is using years of hard work in development to push out a few HD textures and you call the entire development team incompetent?
You are out of your element, phag.
The reason i love PC gaming, play a game later and its often on an entire new level due to things like this (not to mention hardware advancements)
