Hugo Cardoso, creator of Survivor Squad, was kind enough to provide us with a review copy of his game, and as with most indie titles, we’re presenting you today its firth thirty minutes. Survivor Squad is a Strategy Action game where you control a Squad of up to four survivors and guide them through a highly randomized world looking for supplies to aid you on your journey.
Survivor Squad uses an isometric viewpoint, and is quite fun. Naturally, don’t expect a triple-A experience or state of the art visuals. However, this indie title – and despite its ‘simple’ looks – is packed with a great atmosphere, so kudos to Hugo for achieving something like that.
Survivor Squad is pretty much a simple game. Players are asked most of the times to cleanse (by killing all zombies) some infected areas in order to complete their missions. Players can craft items and customize their characters before starting a mission, while they can also search for resources during their missions.
Survivor Squad is currently priced at $8.99 and can be purchased from its official website.

Still, the PC platform won him over consoles. That was mainly due to 3DFX and its iconic dedicated 3D accelerator graphics card, Voodoo 2.
