Remember NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW list which leaked a lot of unannounced games? Well, we now have a new challenger. During Microsoft’s court, the FTC Discovery has published a lot of emails, revealing projects that have not been announced yet. And one of them is DayZ 2.
As we can clearly see in the following document, Bohemia is currently working on three games. The first two have already been announced, whereas the third one was a mystery… until now.
So, Bohemia is working on Arma Reforged, Arma 4 and DayZ 2. Yeap, DayZ 2 is real and will most likely come out after Arma 4.
For those wondering, Arma Reforger is currently available in Early Access. Arma Reforger showcases the studio’s progress on their new Enfusion engine and offers a glimpse of things to come.
What’s also interesting here is Bohemia’s stance on Game Pass. The team was unhappy with PC Game Pass, mainly because its core audience is on PC. On the other hand, Bohemia was happy with DayZ’s console Game Pass performance.

Should they not finish DayZ?
DayZ will probably be done about 4 years after they release DayZ 2…
That what they said a decade ago, and is still unfinished.
The stand-alone is still barebones in comparison to the MOD, during all that time multiple AAA games were developed.
There is no excuse for people to fall for this scam again and buy DayZ 2.
Watch them fall for that scam because ‘they can’t get that DayZ feeling elsewhere.’
Yeah, I’ve been pretty disappointed with the way the game took shape. I was happy with the map changes from Arma 2, and I was really happy when they introduced the new engine they made for DayZ, however the exciting gameplay I enjoyed in the mod is lacking and the control server admins had over things like loot spawns in the mod also appears to be lacking.
Overall the DayZ Standalone experience is always bland. They’ve focused too much on the boring survival aspects of the mod, and not enough on the thrills and dangers that it presented players with. In DayZ Standalone I never feel that adrenaline rush of combat and death that I felt in the mod. Death in DayZ Standalone is just tedious, and means frantically hunting for basic survival stuff so you don’t die right away because someone decided that humans must starve to death after 30 minutes without food, and you can never find those basic survival supplies in large enough quantities to make the looting mechanic about having fun looking for guns and ammo to feed the combat aspects of the game.
And don’t even get me started on the vehicles… In the mod I remember vehicles were fun, and server admins could add extra vehicle spawns to the map. On private servers people could usually find a vehicle somewhere, and drive around and enjoy their looting/survival experience more. In DayZ Standalone you have to have an army of people to fix one vehicle because every car needs wheels, a battery, and fuel which I think takes at least 4 people to carry. This whole vehicle repair mechanic just feels like to was designed to punish players for wanting to enjoy their gaming experience.
Can we get hopeful colorful and inspiring games which are not indie or Nintendo please I’m tired of this “Post Apocalyptic”, “Dystopian ” , “survival” sh@t ! as we are already living in a dystopia .
So Tencent owns a slice of Bohemia Interactive then. Sigh.

All the comments from salty nerds who haven’t even played dayz in years. Dayz is one of the most unique gaming experiences out there and has come leaps and bounds in the 5/6 years I’ve been playing it. Endless lists of modded severs to suit your preferences easily make it the best in class. Dayz 2 hype folks 🙂
