Battlefield 4 Beta Bug Turns ‘Siege of Shanghai’ Into An Underwater City
Our reader ‘Ghost Rider LSOV’ shared with us a hilarious bug from Battlefield 4’s beta that turned the Siege of Shanghai map into an underwater city. According to ‘EmotionaltroutHD’ who captured it, this bug started at checkpoint A when walking downstairs. The player could not shoot and the bug continued even after being killed and re-spawned. Obviously DICE will sort it out, though it will be a great easter egg to turn this map into an underwater city, don’t you think? In this fourth episode of Operation: Make Faster game, the development team introduces us to Rob Elam and Julio Jerez, programmers for PlanetSide 2. Valve Demonstrates The Steam Controller
Valve has released a new video that gives us a quick look at some games being played with the prototype version of the Steam Controller. The Controller showcased here is the same version with the one that Valve will be shipping to 300 Steam users later this year. The team has promised to release more demonstrations with other games soon, so stay tuned for more. The Steam Controller seems way better than other controllers and surprisingly enough, even strategy games seem playable with it. Yes, even this controller cannot come close to the keyboard+mouse combo, however it seems like the best alternative we’ve seen thus far. Enjoy! ENBSeries creator, Boris Vorontsov, has released a new video for Skyrim, showcasing some new water effects that will most probably be supportedin his upcoming ENBSeries mod for Bethesda’s RPG. According to Boris, his new mod will make Skyrim’s water look better via procedural caustic generated from water textures and dispersion. Okay okay, this sounded like mumbo jumbo to most of you. Portal: Survive! Is An Amazing Live-Action Short Based On Valve’s Puzzle Title
And here comes another Portal short film. Portal: Survive! is a live-action short based on the hit game Portal, and the tie-in comic “Portal 2: Lab Rat.” This film is directed by Colin and Connor McGuire, and was shot for under $500 at the YouTube Space LA. Needless to say that you really need to check it out as it’s a really great short film.
