Spencer joined us in early 2015, previously a console centric gamer he switched to PC a few years ago. He later helped push for an increase in Japanese content on PC with the #SEGAPCPorts campaign. Previously he ran a SEGA fansite as well as co-hosted a gaming podcast. I wouldn’t be surprised if the amount of piracy has increased. Not that I support piracy but it makes sense that if you create an obstacle to the purchasing of a given title more folks will engage in… Alternative means of acquisition.

Making your game available in only specific stores, and controversial ones at that, could be perceived as an obstacle by some. I think the competition is a net positive long term but I’d be lying if I said I wanted to invest in Epic’s store personally.

Yeah — pretty much. I don’t disagree with you but others seem to. I’ll just wait the year for the Steam versions and buy them in the bargain bin.
