Now here is an offer you simply can’t refuse. As we’ve already told you, Alan Wake will be removed from all digital stores this Monday, including Steam. As such, Remedy is offering Alan Wake with a 90% discount.
This offer will end in 42 hours from the moment this article goes live. This basically means that you can get Remedy’s title for only 2,79€ or $2,79.
So yeah, if you’ve never owned Alan Wake – and are slightly interested in it – we strongly suggest getting it from Steam while you still can.
Now if for some reason you don’t like Steam, GOG is also offering Alan Wake with a 90% discount.
It’s also worth noting that the entire Alan Wake franchise is available with a 90% discount, which means that you can get every Alan Wake game for less than $4.
Remedy claimed that it is currently looking into relicensing the music for Alan Wake, though it did not give any ETA on when this game will be re-listed on digital stores.
As we’ve already said, those who already own the game will be able to download and play it even when it will be removed from Steam.

Got both for 4$CND. I’m psyched. Can’t wait to play them.
They are worth much more than that…great games!
Rip.
If only the fixed price for all games new or old are 3$ or 5$… *SIGH* Probably in Xen.
yeah if only i could work for several years on something only for it to be bought for 3 dollars. thats so great. i was just thinking how my several years of work are actually worth less then fast food meals. fantastic world view you got there.
It’s a reflection of the new generation of entitled kids that think everything should be free.
Who talk about something free here?
$3-$5 flat cost for all games you deem “old”. You don’t understand economics, that’s for sure.
It boogles the mind how someone could actually think that a game released in 2012 (or even 2010 on the dumb box) is in any way, shape or form ”old”.
They don’t give a damn about consumers, it’s normal i don’t give a damn about them… Sorry but it’s like that. And i hope you remember this two garbage games that came to my mind “No Man’s Sky” & “Mass Effect: Andromeda”. And if you work for several years to give us $#!t like this, then even 15 YEARS of work doesn’t even worth 2$ just to say.
And by the way go ask Remedy how much they soldes on this 48h.
Supply and demand.
“Fixed price”? Do you know how economics work?
Do you know how economics f@ck with us?
Hello captain here,
Everything has a price. Wether you’re willing to pay it or not is up to you. You vote with your wallet as a consumer and it’s the way it should be. If games were at a fixed prices then there wouldn’t artists/animators/programmers because in many cases, profites doesn’t come first month/year. So if they don’t get money, they’ll get fired in account of “not enough work”. If they don’t work, well, they don’t have money to buy the stuff/service that YOU sell. Then YOU don’t have a job anymore and then YOU don’t have money anymore. Anddd so on.
Economy.
I get you’re not buying Adromeda or NMS, which is fine, it’s your choice but don’t go expecting the world to turn around the strategy you posted earlier.
“economics f@ck with us” I’m now CERTAIN you’re definitely one of the kids that thinks everything should be free.
What is the definition of kids for you?!
1995 game, 10 bucks, makes sense.
Yeah, I wouldn’t give the devs of this three cents after Alan Wake was console exclusive, probably wouldn’t come to PC and their excuse was that the game was meant to be played on a gamepad while sitting on a couch.
Go f##k yourselves.
This game looks great in 3D.
One of the devs was interviewed and stated on camera exactly what I said. I know because I watched the interview with my own eyes and heard the words with my ears. I don’t need to read quotes from some other interview.
Great move by them, it worth it.
I got the franchise for 1$ back in 2013 from humble bundle and it had a no drm version included but I really like it so I bought it again for my gog account. Timed licensing of music is ridiculous and should not be allowed.
