  1. “Contrary to its predecessor, Destiny 2 will be coming to the PC platform.”

Is this official or are you just going off the rumour?

    1. Off the rumour. The Author himself even writes that Activision didn’t reveal any details besides this image so there’s nothing official yet. But yeah, 2017 Journalism.

      1. eh the same exact contract states Destiny 2 will be on Xbox 360 and PS3. I REALLY don’t see them releasing it for those two consoles but time will tell. Another thing stated in the contract was Destiny on 360 and PS3 were meant to get 4 expansions, they only got 3.

    1. It’ll be worse than the first one, & the first one wasn’t anything special, in the first place, so, yeah.

      1. What does Sony have to do with anything? Last time I looked the game is on Xbox 360 and One and doesn’t have anything special if you play it on a Sony platform.

        1. Wikipedia states,

“As per an exclusivity agreement with Sony Interactive Entertainment, Destiny and all of its expansions have featured timed exclusive content for the PlayStation versions.”

    1. By being a Microsoft-owned console developer for over 10 years with near-zero PC experience.

Oh, & an idiot, of course.

    yet”

“Contrary to its predecessor, Destiny 2 will be coming to the PC platform.”

so either they unveiled additional details or that other part is pure speculation still.(even though its all but confirmed at this point)

    1. They “confirmed” it years back, when people were still whining about Destiny (OG) not coming to PC. That’s the last I heard about it.

  3. “Contrary to its predecessor, Destiny 2 will be coming to the PC platform”

I don’t give a damn whether it is or isn’t coming to PC. They gave us the shaft with the first game so are having a laugh if they expect PC gamers to be jumping for joy now that we’re suddenly considered worthy of their patronage.

Activision are purveyors of console-centric triple-A garbage and casual games for kiddies whereas Bungie peaked many years ago so we really don’t need this game on PC.

    1. Also exclusive beta and content for PS4, which means Activision literally sees everyone else as a cash cow and an afterthought. I fully expect it to be the simplest of PC ports with very little differences going on both graphically and gameplay wise.

This is Activision we’re talking about though, they see PC as *a* cash cow, one they’ve been ignoring outside of their poor CoD port attempts.

      1. Indeed. About the only benefit to the game coming to PC would be that of the fans finally having the opportunity to experience the franchise at a proper frame-rate relative to the laughable 30fps they get on consoles.

  4. “Contrary to its predecessor, Destiny 2 will be coming to the PC platform.”

Did they actually confirm this, or are we still going by that statement they made how-many-years-ago-was-it-by-now?

    1. If anything, it *might* show up on PC, but even then it’s going to be an utter and complete afterthought. It’s Activision we’re talking about here, that and it’s been years and years since Bungie did anything meaningful on PC. I’ve noticed that devs who ignore/stay away from PC, tend to be the worst when they decide they want to craft for it.

  5. most popular game on both platforms imo but will fail on pc why?pc gaming is flooded with to many esport games.multiplayer games like destiny 2 wont do well like most of them on pc.

before you guys rant and rave you know games like cod have no longevity on pc because of esports.yes console players that have a pc will get it on pc it just divides the console population.but when cheating nabd hacking start going on which happens on pc real fast things will change.

    1. “Destiny’s most frequent cheaters are having their consoles banned
      Say bye-bye, jerks
      Nov 17, 2016, 5:25pm EST”

Remind me, again, how many years ago, exactly, did Destiny originally launch?

      Oh, that’s right.

      1. if they were cheating on console they will be cheating on pc even more and thats not including the pc gamers that cheat.

  6. The f*ck do I give a sh*t for? It’s not like I’m ever buying this piece of sh*t joke, anyway.

    But yeah, keep trying.
